"Clean" Politics, "Blog-Strikes" & "Carburettor Dung".

============================
"And even bloggers are getting sick of all the shenanigans - and are laying off politics for awhile."
- The Sunday Star

I wondered why Rocky would wanna "go on strike" when he sees the can of worms being opened ......
And Marina would say, "I don't know anything at all .....and I will blog about things that I hope will make us smarter, not stupider."

What - we cannot throw dirt back at those who whack us?
Isn't this what we have all been silent about?
We cannot demand accountability?
Wow! Now we have become 'political moralists' have we?

Suddenly some people have become all soft and sentimental?
Everything's "fitnah semata-mata", and it can destroy the "ummah".
Aaah ... I get it - it is not in our culture to speak of the dirt that hasn't been flushed out - we just put the lid on them and spray some perfume on it. We as responsible "bloggers" have to shut our eyes to the "boogers", lest we throw up.

The dirt has to be sorted out and swept up "behind closed doors", so that the people think highly of our politicians and inspire confidence.
I'm sure that will fill all the hungry bellies, empty fuel tanks and depleting cash reserves ....
We can only speak of things that are prim and proper in public.
We need to molly-coddle all our politicians ......
That definitely will make us all smarter ...... Malaysia Boleh style!!!
Thanks for the tip, Rocky and Marina - I'm sure everybody (especially Saiful, Bala P.I. & Setev Sharibuu) will love you more for that.....

Semut has some interesting photos on the evolution of Malaysian politics, that has approached its heights in CarburettorDung - from goodbye umno, goodbye hadhari to the sodo mee story..
All we need as a wake-up call now is "Carburettor Dung" and a Mooning show!
=========================

Moving on ...... Many asked me yesterday, if I'd be heading to Kelana Jaya for the "carnival" - since I'm not into "wholesome family entertainment", it was a negative.

I had a good laugh today morning, though ... Hard-T has some really good pictures to illustrate what I had only imagined could have happened at the "carnival".

My goodness gracious me ......!!!!!
(Marina & and Rocky might've decided to shut down their blogs forever ..... and Malaysians would be deprived of getting "smarter"!)

Thank God it didn't take place at padang timur Amcorp Mall.

Protes rally turn ugly (Now showing) -Hard-T

AMK Security (Angkatan Muda Keadilan) we're really F'in up....
So, when he dropped his pants ...., trouble makers (monkeys) & conservative elements in the crowd that started the violence & started throwing bottles......
Throughout the day, there were many trouble makers & probably UMNO youngster gangstas there (as usual). All the monkeys came out to play!
To wrap up this part, some AMK guys could have roughed up the members of Carburettor Dung as they we're 'taken' out ....
They went missing after,.....

Rocker strips pants and bends down at audience - The Star

- HermanSamsudeen

---------------------------------------------

"Oi! Cukuplah!"........ the audience managed to rain blows on the performers..... band had been performing a number titled "Liwat" .... The last straw was when the lead singer, turned around and pulled down his pants to expose his underwear..... one of the organisers of the event went on stage to publicly apologise ... adding tearfully that he did not understand why the crowd was behaving so uncivilly against his "anak buah" ....

Now, for Sham's SHAME ...(aka dungtertainment)

Hello Sham Rais,
DAMN - Good show Sham!
Are you out of your skull or something?
Did you think they were supposed to perform to junkies or feng-thou crowd or something?
You didn't know that mindless antics on stage, isn't what people wanna see?
You call that "music"? You call that "entertainment"?
You gotta have more sense than put up a cheap trick like that to rile up the crowd!
One doesn't have to be "square" to be disgusted with such performances, Sham - you just need common sense!
One could have found ten other bands/ performers who'd perform for free, with some real music
Jeez Sham - shame on you.
Wake up, grow up and stop the "F"-ups, for gottsakes!!

Fish-head Curry and Duress.

LATEST:
KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 ─ P. Balasubramaniam
─ the man behind the now infamous statutory declaration
─ and his family have gone missing.

======================
"Don't we do something that can
destroy what we have done?!?!?!?
"
===============================

After spending hours with Bala taking notes of his testimony previously and being familiar with his character, Americk said, ” I am very sceptical that he has signed the second statutory declaration of his own free will and I am convinced he has been intimidated to do so by either threats or promises, as I can think of no other reason.”

Bala then spoke to the ASP and left at around 4.45pm. Americk assumed he was going to meet the ASP at about 6.30pm as they had been talking about having
fishhead curry at Brickfields, said the lawyer.

He said Bala had signed the first declaration in front of a commissioner of oaths - someone whom Bala recognised as having grown up in the same Slim River neighbourhood as himself - on his own free will.

“I am therefore extremely surprised that Mr. Bala, in the space of 24 hours, has engaged the services of another lawyer and affirmed another statutory declaration swearing the first one was untrue and that he was forced to sign it,” said Americk.

"I mention this as a principle,
meaning if we love our country we must realise that
to build a country like Malaysia is not something easy.
Don't we do something that can destroy
what we have done.

LATEST:
KUALA LUMPUR, July 5 ─ P. Balasubramaniam
─ the man behind the now infamous statutory declaration
─ and his family have gone missing.

"After retracting the declaration, Balasubramaniam snuck out without answering any questions from the press. His nephew, Kumaresan, said that the private investigator and his family have not been seen since yesterday.

This latest twist is going to make an already messy situation worse and give credence to claims by the Opposition that Balasubramaniam felt compelled to revise his statutory declaration because he and his family had been threatened."

In another development, I thought the Quran Reading Competition was going on .....

Primetime News and "information" has taken a Religious twist with

Quran recitals and the Melaka History,

condemning "Fitnah" that can destroy Islam & civilization itself!

Somebody must be really shaken up and "under duress" with all the "fish head curry" and SDs in town......

Reminds me of what Russell Peter's dad used to tell him-

"Somebody's gonna get hurt real BAAAAD!

THE SOCIAL CONTRACT - Intro from Che Det.Com

The Notion & the "Social Contract". (July 2,2008) with reference to Dr. Shad Faruqi's press statements.
Dr. Mahathir's revelation of his take on the "Malaysian 'social contract'", will be quite interesting - of that you can be quite certain ....
===========================

1. There has been a lot of talk about a Social Contract in Malaysia.

2. Perhaps it would be useful if we understand this concept a little bit more before we argue about it.

3. If we care to look into the origins of the social contract we will find that it is a European concept enunciated by European philosophers. The most famous is Socrates, the Greek philosopher who was jailed and sentenced to death.

4. He refused to escape and migrate to another Greek city-state because he believed he was bound by a social contract to live by the laws of his state of Athens as he was born and brought up there, benefiting from the aforesaid laws.

5. Before this social contract, men were said to live in a State of Nature, where there was no law to govern the relation between individuals in a small primitive society. The law of the jungle prevailed where might was right.

6. As society grew it became necessary to have laws which govern the behaviour of members of the society. All citizens were committed to respect and submit to the laws. This understanding is in fact a social contract although there was no oral or written undertaking to respect and submit to the laws. This was the view of Socrates. Later philosophers enlarged on this concept but there was never a requirement for a formal contract.

7. The Greeks are said to practise a democratic form of Government. However the citizen who had the right to participate in Government were limited to male adults of sound mind. Women, children, slaves, captives, criminals and foreigners were not accorded the rights of citizens and could not play a part in Government.

8. Much of European civilisation is based on the Greek civilisation. But as society grew bigger, direct participation in Government by the people became impossible.

9. At one stage democracy was abandoned in favour of feudalism in which a monarch ruled by Divine Right. In Asia this had always been the form of Government. Nevertheless the submission of the subjects to the Monarch was also a form of social contract.

10. Later feudalism was replaced by republicanism i.e. a return to the public of the power of Government.

11. Numerous forms of republics have emerged, each with its own set of laws and rules regarding the government of the country. But whatever may be the form, the laws and the rules, the citizens are bound by them. There would be no written contract but for foreigners to accept the rights of citizenship, there would usually be a formal undertaking to submit to the laws and system of the Government of the country.

12. After becoming citizens their offspring would automatically be regarded as citizens and as citizens they need not swear a formal oath of allegiance to the country. This right is through jus sanguinis i.e. through blood relation.

13. But there can also be citizenship by being born in the country or jus soli. This can be provided for by the laws of the country.

14. But whether citizenship is gained through jus sanguinis or jus soli, the social contract still applies even though there is no formal oath taking.

15. What is clear is that a social contract is a general understanding on the part of a citizen to submit to and obey the laws and the institutions of the country. The social contract governs not just his relation with the country, its Government and its institutions but also his relationship with his fellow citizens.

16. After receiving comments on this I will talk about the Malaysian social contract and its effect on Malaysia.

It's so Sub Jaundice .....

==========================

Mr. Lai Si-Foh, a prominent personality was recently interviewed by the Media of Bolehsia, with regard to attempts to "smear his image" with the Magnum P.I.'s SD.
He appeared to "be cool" despite the controversial nature of the allegations .....
Here are excerpts of the interview :-

Media: Good Morning, Sir. Are you disturbed by the recent allegations?

LAI : My response is very simple - we have to practice DENIALS.
Read my rosy pink lips - It's a lie.
I mean L-I-E, even though my name Lai sounds the same - fabrications, Fitnah! WHY NOW? That's the question!

Ha, Ha. You see - I'm still smiling.
I can see that the person accused of having Mee Soto is trying to fabricate stories about me thru Mr. Magnum - now you can see that he has withdrawn "significant" parts - actually all of his SD already.
His new SD was an SD of DENIAL .
Actually, he has effectively called himself a LIAR & a cuckoo!
You saw him - he was so happy today, despite the fact that he was smiling with Anwar yesterday.
Now his credibility is blown to pieces - kaput! Ha, Ha!
It was all so simple to disprove these rumours of malicious intent.
I just have to deny it.
So, No case loh .... heh, heh - you know I donno how to lie, and the people know that!

Even my boss says so .... and of course, as my boss also said that people accused of having Mee Soto will obviously deny it!
And my boss also tells you all to believe what he says now- even though he lied on numerous occasions in the past, about everything.

As for Magnum's SD, he cannot comment, as it may be "sub jaundice".
The question is, "WHY NOW" - you cannot say "Why not now ...".
That's also "sub jaundice" .... I think - if it isn't, I'm sure we can tell Mr. Petai there to cook up a real hot sambal petai with the Mee Soto and put the matter to Rest In Peace.

Media: What have you got to say about the coffee boy who served Mee Soto - that Psyfool character?

Mr. LAI : Yes. He's a "nice" boy - a real sub.
And a Mee Soto flunky from the reputed Soto Uni.
... cute too, I might add. Ha, ha.
Oh - I never had anything to do with him or his SD or report, even though he visits me at my home ...... it was "nice".
He simply did it to save his honor or what's left of it .... ha, ha.
The spin that he was an outstanding member of a religious club doesn't hold anymore, though - his name wasn't in the registry- a mega-conspiracy.
It went missing, just like the Congolian immigra ..... sorry- that cannot be mentioned.
It's sub jaundice or something like that. Ask Mr. Petai - he'll tell you.....

Aah yes, anyway - he was 'distressed'.
His hands which are normally soft, supple and warm was so "seram sejuk" - I won't go into details about other parts of his body, as it may be sub jaundice

The cops can handle the matter - I'm sure they'll do a good job Mee Soto .... heh, heh.
Oh- by the by ... He needed some help you see - I'm sure he was telling the truth, as I inspected him and saw the Mee Soto damage on him.

Yes - Mee Soto makes your hands "seram sejuk".
I speak from my personal experience in certain boys' hostels those days .....
People come to me for help all the time .. they come for all sorts of things - even from Congolia, SWAT teams. Yes .... also on truly explosive issues that need to be handled with care.

Media : How come you have not defended yourself or your Mrs., by suing Mr. Pete for libel or defamation after his SD the other day? The people may perceive you to be a wimp, for not being able to defend your Mrs., don't you think?

Mr. LAI : Mr. Petai can handle that.
I don't have to do anything beyond making denials.
Oh - BTW, Did you hear that his website CongoliaToday was hacked?
That was good, huh?

The people know that I'm not a LIAR, don't have Mee Soto, and help coffee boys who I know normally have warm, soft, supple hands.
Once again, I won't speak of other parts .... sub jaundice - whatever that means ....
As for my Mrs, well, hasn't she said she's got bigger things to handle?
That would lay to rest any doubts about my legendary virility .... ROTFLOL!!

Anyway, in Bolehsia, we just ignore such things - after some time, the people will forget about it when they have to work longer & harder to feed their kids.
They can eat Mee Soto for all I care .....
The people just cannot think when they are tired out, trying to eke out a living ... brilliant, isn't it?
Yes - they'll get too tired to think of what my Mrs or I do in our free time with Congolians or Coffee boys.

Lastly, I must once again ask - WHY NOW?
Those magic words will demolish all allegations ... "be cool".

Media : Thank you, Mr. Lai- err... for such the enlightening revelations.

===========================

Disclaimer:
The above is totally fictional - and I'd make a Statutory Declaration on that. Mind it!
Any semblance anyone alive is purely a coincidence.

In a separate development ......
the following was seen on Malaysiakini:

"Meanwhile, Balasubramaniam’s lawyer, Americk Singh Sidhu, who was with the former yesterday when he made the stunning revelations, was "absolutely unaware" of the latest development.

Americk told Malaysiakini that Balasubramaniam received a phone call from the police soon after his press conference yesterday to report to the Brickfields police station.

"I advised him that as a law-abiding citizen, he should go and see them. So I fetched him to the Brickfields police station at 4.45pm yesterday and I haven’t heard from him since," he said stressing that he has failed to contact Balasubramaniam since this news broke out.

Balasubramaniam's statutory declaration was affirmed before commissioner of oaths Zainal Abidin Muhayat, bearing an address that has been traced to Zul Rafique & Partners - a pro-establishment law firm owned by Zulkifly Rafique who is Federal Territories minister Zulhasnan Rafique's brother."

First statutory declaration made voluntarily: Lawyer
Lawyer Americk Singh Sidhu denied that private investigator P Balasubramaniam affirmed his first sworn statement under duress.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 - Our military has no intelligence.
- The Malaysian Insider.

(Note: These words above, were cut & pasted here. These words are no longer there as far as I can see - It may have been a misprint.
It has been edited/ rephrased, and here's an excerpt:
"Salleh went so far as to claim that the military had no intelligence with regards to these matters even though they involved not just top political figures in our country but the government's top executives as these were "criminal cases. The military looks at things related to security, e.g., militants and terrorists. Like you (the press), we are simply monitoring events.")
----------------------------------------

"As I am familiar with the character of Mr Bala having spent hours with him recording his statement, I am very skeptical that he has signed the second statutory declaration of his own free will and I am convinced he has been intimidated to do so by either threats or promises, as I can think of no other reason.

The commissioner of oaths who attested the first statutory declaration is prepared to confirm what I have stated above as far as the voluntariness of Mr Bala’s statutory declaration is concerned.

In fact Mr Bala recognised the commissioner as soon as he saw him as both apparently grew up in the same neighbourhood in Slim River, which is something I had no knowledge of."

Nobody's attacking the Constitution!

====================

Last year, I heard the tongues wagging that the PDRM has been allocated new "everything" - from Helmets, uniforms, boots, to weapons.
Of course the stories said that these were "contigency plans" - sort of preparation for the anticipated mauling of the BN.

Today, (after Bersih, Hindraf, the 12th GE, PR, RPK and DSAI),
chedet.com attacked,
Torrent hosts are shut down,
Streamyx is bogged down,
Aliran website attacked,
MT gets hacked after some controversial SDs,
DSAI files police report,
and Google alerts tell me that KLSE trading has been suspended.

Then, I read something interesting on Malaysian Insider .....

Latest on Altantuya case

P. Balasubramaniam, the private investigator hired by Razak Baginda to keep Altantuya away from him, has signed a statutory declaration which basically shows Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's alleged involvement in the case. He swears to seeing an SMS from Najib to Razak on the day he was arrested which said: "I am seeing IGP at 11am today… matter will be solved… be cool."

Anwar reveals sworn statement by Abdul Razak Baginda's private investigator P. Balasubramaniam, which basically shows Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's alleged involvement in the case. He swears to seeing an SMS from Najib to Razak on the day he was arrested which said: "I am seeing IGP at 11am today… matter will be solved… be cool."

Statutory declaration in full to come.

"The men in blue jealously guarded their turf and the government felt that the sight of men in green fatigues with M16s on patrol duty on the streets of Kuala Lumpur would put the country on par with war-torn African states and unstable East European nations, and conjure up the image of a country under emergency.

This could change this week.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said yesterday that the police and armed forces will be holding a joint public order exercise until Monday and the military will be called in to maintain public order if the security situation in Malaysia deteriorates."

Defence and Internal Security taking over the Govt of AAB?
An impending coup d'etat in UMNO Baru?
Although these reports may be considered as "alarmist" by some, the prospect of it happening is very real, given the history of the nation - especially when some people refuse to learn from it, and resort to cooking it.

Then again, one might want to consider this .....

The Anwar saga 2008
"Anwar declares war to save Malaysia"

Sungai Petani MP Johari Abdul, who was also the emcee for the event, gave a slice of what was in store when he stepped up to the podium at 9pm.

"The drums of war have already sounded. This time, it's not their field but ours. We will tell the rakyat what really happened, who's really involved...things you won't read about in the local papers."

"There is no turning back...I will fight! I will fight morning, I will fight noon, I will fight evening, I will fight night! I will not stand for all this fitnah and such rotten things!" Anwar thundered.

"This is not a question of Anwar, but a question of saving Malaysia. The government mechanism should not be used to oppress the people...but to protect the interest of the people," he thundered when he entered the arena at 10pm.

And though he went on at length about a great many things, Anwar has got one thing right, if nothing else.

"The issue now is about national governance. Other issues...are mere distractions."

For Anwar, the cloak-and-dagger games are over.

Just familiarizing myself with the army & police insignias for now .....
