U C, 4 me - Now it's Sodo Mee.

"If you create havoc, we will deal with you"
Move over, Maggi - Sodo Mee is here, well stretched!
===========================

Anwar said in the statement that he "recently obtained" evidence implicating Inspector General of Police Musa Hassan and Attorney General Gani Patail of misconduct and fabricating evidence against him in 1998. He said he will release the evidence soon.
- CNN.com/asia

Anwar accused the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition of trying to ruin him, and his wife said she had photographic evidence to show that the complainant was linked to an aide of Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak.....
A spokesman for Najib declined to comment .....
Abdullah Ahmad Badawi dismissed Anwar's claims.....
"If you create havoc, we will deal with you," Bakri said.

===========================

The price of rice has gone up in tandem with fuel, and the price of noodles would have to rise accordingly, despite "strong efforts" by the government to prevent anything "untoward" happening.

Yes - the price of Mee has got to go up too, and the people are apparently up in arms against this.
To allay the fears of the vendors and consumers, the compassionate, project-cancelling, "flip-flopping" government has hastily made arragements for Mee of the highest quality, to be supplied FOC to the public.
The people are bound to forget about SDs, and fuel prices once it captures their imagination and
fills their bellies, that are so hungry for the dirt swept under Carpets International Malaysia Berhad.

In line with the efforts towards "branding of Malaysia" as Najis calls it, this brand of Noodles has been christened (it's Halal, too!!), Sodo Mee.
People from all walks of life, from Tivoli Villa Bangsar, to Mongolia, and back to Kondominium Desa Damansara are so taken up by it!
Intrigued by this best-selling Mee I searched on the net, and found it on TVSmith's blog. According to TVSmith,
"
A spokeswoman for Sodomee™ said: "It is just a coincidence. We are revitalizing some of the products and Sodomee™ happens to be one of them".
"We however, will not deny that we hope to get free advertising on the airwaves again. Many of our pretty newscasters mispronounced the OTHER word as So-doh-me, thus giving us free mileage previously".
Asked if the product will stick this time, she explained: "The original recipe is being updated. Although some of the old staff are still around, we have a new chef heading product development this time".

For more TV Smith reviews on "branded" Malaysian products, Click Here.

In the interest of "branding", the selected poster boy is apparently a wannabe hotshot called
Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
Uniten old boy, it seems - donno if he was a dropout, though...
He's become so popular that he's chosen to go MIA - like Howard Hughes!

Apparently, everyone wants a crack at him the (media/ Pakatan/ Cops), and he needs protection from PDRM. Of course he'll be "examined" at the hospital, and be kept in protective custody ...

It's the Guy in blue - don't ask me who the sidekick is - you could surf to MalaysiaToday to find out more, and read the rave reviews it has generated from the public. As long as you don't "create havoc", there won't be anyone to "deal with you".

The above is apparently the logo of the MNC (incorporated in Mongolia) that holds rights to the Brand.

It's the best way to deal with people who cause havoc to deny the authority the authority on anything - You create a diversion from the real thing itself!

The following is from Rocky's Bru on the "Coffee" Boy:
The following police report was made on 28 June 2008 at 5.45 PM by Mohd Saiful Bukhari bin Azlan, who turns 23 next week (i/c no 850706-01-5687):
Majikan saya Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim - Ketua Umum PKR."

RPK - So you think only you can make "explosive" SDs?
There you go ... now the people will say no big deal - any jackass can make an SD (even if we have to make him make a "branded" ass of himself)!
The only difference is, my lawyers are free, and you pay for yours, mate!

BTW, there are some nice pics of the "coffee boy" at Mr.Manager & SultanMuzaffar too.

Congrats to Psyfool, anyway - after years in Uniten, he's got his crack at fame (and a happy birthday too) at last!

P.S.
The latest relaunch of Sodo Mee, includes three unique flavours.
  1. Spicy Hot Mongolian (that's the favourite!)
  2. Pungent Mongolian
  3. Sweet sour Mongolian Sauce
Addendum:
Dr. Patau Rubis and his Bidayuh sorcerers could help kill of all the liars.
This time he could extend the invitation to DSAI & Psyfool too.
With the four together, I'm certain sparks will fly ....

Geeks Then, Heroes Now, Gone 2Moro ....

======================

I just had to get the scan of this print on this blog.
The online edition is available at Newsweek.com. &
Microsoft After Gates. (And Bill After Microsoft.)
These are the one time geeks, who today are "heroes" who have changed the world.
Gates is retiring as of today, when he punches out for the last time - to concentrate on Bill & Melinda Foundation. It is the largest philanthropic organisation in the world with a $37.3 billion endowment - good for him (he won't have to pay tax now, I suppose).
Tech has evolved so fast, that many Tech pundits openly say "Microsoft is Dead".
Somehow I don't buy that - at least not yet, even though they lag behind Google on the internet.
Despite their monopoly on the Market - they were among the pioneers of the IT revolution. He made a difference - and what a difference it was .....
It may not be goodbye yet to Gates, but this is definitely a milestone in the evolution of the tech giant - let's see what the future holds .....

Settle it The Bidayuh way and One of You Die!

=====================

This is a report worth reading - it came from someone who carries the title - "Dr".

.................................................

The dispute between Deputy Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and his wife Rosmah and blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin over the truth of the matter relating to the Altantuya murder case is perhaps best settled by the traditional Bidayuh way, according to State Reform Party (Star) president Dr Patau Rubis.

MCPX

dr patau rubisPatau, a Bidayuh from Krokong, Bau near Kuching, said he is prepared to sponsor the ceremony if the trio will come and swear before a Bidayuh ketua gawai in the Kampung Gumbang baruk (head house) to the truth of their statements to the authorities.

According to him, the Bidayuh belief is that anyone who tells a lie will die within three weeks.

Truly impressive & amazing ......
This guy needs to be nominated for the Nobel peace prize!

I thought only in India there where such nincompoops who become leaders - Reminds me of a Bihari betel-leaf chewing nutcase-politician (Lalloo Prasad Yadav), who suggested that Politician take part in a cow-milking contest, to decide on the next PM of India!
Just google "Lalloo,Bihar" - and you'll find jokes.
Bihari & Laloo jokes.....
Here's one to get you started -

A reporter asked Laloo "What is the main reason for divorce ?"
Laloo: "Marriage"!

Just couldn't resist it - so here's another, with Lalloo changed to Patau ....

At a bar in New York ......
The man to Patau's left tells the bartender, "JOHNNIE WALKER, SINGLE."
And the man's companion says, "JACK DANIELS, SINGLE."
The bartender approaches Patau and asks, "AND YOU, SIR?"

Patau replies: "DR. PATAU RUBIS, MARRIED."

This Patau is probably better than Bihari politicians -
Yes! Malaysia Boleh!

Patau jokes anyone?
Note:
No prizes for guessing on who'd most likely be C4ed, before the 3 weeks are up ...

Election's the Game, Democracy's the name .....

============================
KUALA LUMPUR, June 25 (Bernama) -- The Election Commission (EC) need not carry out an investigation to find out why some postal votes were not returned and where they were kept. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said that under the existing law, the EC was only responsible for the postal votes that were returned before 5pm.
"For postal votes that were not returned before 5 pm, they were no longer under the jurisdiction of the EC," he said in his written reply to a question from Fong Po Kuan (DAP-Batu Gajah) at the Dewan Rakyat sitting, here Wednesday.

Zimbabwe's opposition leader has fled to a Western embassy after pulling out of the presidential runoff, and dozens of his supporters were hustled away by police in a raid on party headquarters Monday.
American, African and European leaders denounced the developments in this southern African country, but President Robert Mugabe appeared determined to press ahead with Friday's vote.

-FoxNews
(Note: Morgan Tsvangirai has since, left the Dutch Embassy)

The despot in Harare had been fully prepared for Friday's election. The police and military had been made to vote in advance -- in their barracks and under close supervision. "Our superior told us to vote for Mugabe whether we wanted to or not," one police officer from Bulawayo said. After the vote the head of the barracks checked all the ballot papers to make sure they were correct.

Zimbabwe's descent into electoral terror

"He wasn't a criminal at that time. He hasn't been put in jail. So what's wrong with giving timber to the leader of a country?"

- newzimbabwe.com

Mahathir Mohamad, the former Malaysian prime minister, has angrily rejected an outcry over his secret use of government funds to help the disgraced Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe build a new $A13 million mansion near Harare.
Dr Mahathir denied any impropriety in his decision to donate a $40,000 shipment of rare Malaysian rainforest timbers to his close friend Mr Mugabe, an international pariah for his human rights abuses and nationalist policies that have ruined Zimbabwe’s economy.

Yes, we did give Zimbabwe timber, but what’s wrong with that?” a defiant Dr Mahathir, said.

COWARDICE asks, is it safe ?
EXPEDIENCY asks, is it political ?

============================

Citizen Nades in the Sun yesterday, wrote about Zimbabwe under Mugabe -
As I checked Google news while having my morning coffee, I saw news about Zimbabwe.
The article went on to say -
"The rate of inflation has risen to a staggering 2 million percent, a liter of Coke has increased in price from 200 million Zimbabwean dollars to 1.4 billion in just one week. A kilogram of meat has jumped from 1.5 million to 7 million Zimbabwean dollars. Postponing grocery shopping by even half an hour, one newspaper calculated, could see the value of one's money reduced by half."

That's how "a good friend", who has been invited by "a great Muslim leader" to actually take residence in Malaysia, runs his nation. I've yet to hear any condemnation of these atrocities committed by this "friend" of his.
Mugabe has come to believe that he owns Zimbabwe, and he can to what he wishes with the instruments of state, to the people. He believes that only he should and would run Zimbabwe, to the ground if it need be.

Although the events there could be described as apocalyptic by Malaysian standards, it may not be as far-fetched to imagine that it is quite a possibility here in the not too distant future, should the people not demand accountability from "politicians".
That's the predicament a nation that once believed that only one party/man could "protect the people's rights", as we once saw (possibly even still) in Malaysia under the Umno/BN regime for 50.
There has also been little news about Malaysia's stand on the atrocities meted out by this "democratically elected friend" - Mugabe.
I'd shudder to think what the "great Muslim leader" thinks of Mugabe, though ... especially when he's publicly stated that Mugabe should make Malaysia is home(is it My Second Home or Look East Polity or Asian Values, now??).

The vote is today regarded by many in power as their right - the vote should belong to the rulers, and not the citizen.
The casting votes by "security forces" of Zimbabwe, is apparently quite similar to that in Malaysia.
Today, the EC of Malaysia and the Executive are slinging mud at each other for the indelible ink fiasco. Both don't want to take the responsibility for the scrapping of the idea, and the "conspiracy" to cheat voters as alleged by certain quarters seem to have taken a backseat.
Still, it is hoped that the police investigation results in someone being held accountable.
One might wonder if the events in Zimbabwe started off in a similar fashion.

The "affirmative action" called "land reforms" in Zimbabwe, designed to give valuable farming land to the "bumiputras" has bankrupted the state, without any "pendatang scapegoat" left to whack.

Let's not speak of the reported torture & murders in Zimbabwe or Malaysia where "investigations are in progress" - it may be "sub-judice" or something like that.
We'll just speak of the "economic piracy" for now ...

Although things in Malaysia was handled with a little more "finesse" (compared to Zimbabwe, i.e.)- as in the
Offshore Patrol Vehicles (OPV) fiasco, PKFZ, Putrajaya, KLCC, MSC, Cyberjaya, Proton, Angkasawan, Perwaja, "gifts" for 3rd world despots who attend the Langkawi "Summit", Project IC .......

Here's something interesting on the web with regard to "Project IC" (aka "Project M" aka the rape of Sabahans' rights) -
"The phenomenon of documentary citizenship, which I observed firsthand in Malaysia, reveals this assumption to be mistaken, at least insofar as it is applied to developing states.
Illegal immigrants, I observed, were taking part in elections in Malaysia even as many natives continue to have no documents proving their citizenship.
Illegal immigrants were being welcomed and afforded the rights of citizens by sections of the Malaysian state over the opposition of many native citizens. Illegal immigration to Malaysia from the Philippines and Indonesia highlights the paradox of states actively admitting illegal immigrants........
The beneficiaries of such manipulation of ethnicity and migration at the subnational level are the parties that get the vote of these illegal immigrants, the officials, the local illegal entrepreneurs that sell citizenship documents, and finally, the illegal immigrants who not only become citizens with voting rights but also have access to affirmative action policies with their status as Bumiputera, or ‘‘sons of the soil.’’"
- When States Prefer Non-Citizens Over Citizens: Conflict Over Illegal Immigration into Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The Government will launch a "massive operation' against illegal immigrants in Sabah soon, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Wednesday.
He said all foreign nationals without identification documents issued by their own countries or by Malaysia's Immigration Department would be deported.
- The Star

What a stroke of genius from Najib!!
Now, Illegals with valid documents from NRD, as alleged by the writer of the above can live happily ever after in wonderland below the Wind!
When will our politicians be held accountable to our voting rights?
Will the Sabahans fight to reclaim their rights from the pirates or terrorists who have apparently sold-out on them, instead of crying foul?
Do they realize that it was their fear, apathy and greed (of their "leaders", actually) that had done them in?
Do the Bumiputras realize that the NEP & "Ketuanan Melayu", is used mainly as a pretext for (you know what ...), leaving only peanuts for them?
Do they realize that they could actually have more to gain in the long run, without the racist "affirmative policy" that is bankrupting the state, and skyrocketing the cost of living, while corrupting their ethics & culture, and admittedly enriching a few?
When will the politicians account for the taxes paid by the citizen - 90% of which is paid by the "Non- Bumiputras" (at least that's what Mahathir says) who are denied equal rights in various sectors?

Definitely not until we demand for it through increased awareness & social/ political activism, as opposed to the current fear & apathy.
And it can only be done with support from the general public (more so, from a truly confident and fearless Malays/ Bumiputras) who don't expect crutches, from a govt bent on corrupting and paralysing them for good, so as to make them subservient.
Only then can the people reign supreme in this land of "equals".
Until then, the "Democratic" Pirates will rule
- as in Zimbabwe.

Maybe the pirates will reign supreme,
and
Mahathir was right - in that "People forgive & forget easily .....".
So Mugabe ...... Come to where the flavour is -
Come to Malaysia (with your gazillions)!
You've been invited by an apparently great leader.
You'll have friends in high places ......

SOS - "Saviour Of Souls" is in Town!!

=========================

PETALING JAYA: Rock band Daughtry is slated for a concert in Kuala Lumpur on July 26.

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor PAS Youth will ask the state government to meet with the relevant departments and state-owned companies to discuss the types of entertainment programmes which should be allowed in the state.
“We (the Youth movement) can also play a role in perhaps coming up with guidelines on the kind of activities to help instil good moral values among the youth,” he told reporters after a visit to the state mufti’s office here yesterday.

KOTA BARU: Muslim women employees working here are forbidden to wear lipstick and high-heeled shoes to work.
This directive is contained in a municipal council circular dated May 25 and signed by its president Shafie Ismail, which has been distributed to business premises here.
The directive on the wearing of lipstick and high-heeled shoes are in addition to the wearing of scarves, which should cover the chest and not be of transparent material, blouses with long sleeves, which were long and loose, as well as socks.
Those who do not adhere to the regulation can be fined up to RM500.

– Bernama

PAS is also compounding the problem...... Two days ago, a policeman at Putra Heights raped an underage girl. The girl was not sexily dressed. She was not even a criminal but a mere pillion rider. But she was detained and taken to the police station and raped. Why has PAS kept silent on this matter? Where is that massive demonstration to protest police officers raping underage girls? Is fighting with the Sultan of Selangor over whether female singers not dressed like Arabian Bedouins should be permitted to sing in public more important than an underage girl being raped by a policeman?

Save your souls!
Ban the Heels! Ban the Concerts!
Down with Ella! Down with Mas Idayu!
Down with high heels!
To hell with the nation and your lives- Save your souls, Mate!
Ban all women from everything (except in the "service of man" lah)!!!!

It is quite obvious what PAS thinks of itself.
They believe that they got votes becos it was preordained by "God",
and that the Asoh & the Anneh across the street, want their souls to be saved!
They actually believe that the people "Love" Them!!
By default, they think we have elected them to be our "moral guardians" and cultural experts - they now spout the same rhetoric that Umno used to - "It is not our culture"!
They believe "culture" is something that stagnates in time & space - there can be nothing 'dynamic' about it.

PAS apparently don't seem to care if "nationhood" is on the agenda - only Islam-as-I-say-tion matters.
A chauvinistic show of power matters. The ego matters.
Weber, Marx, Engels, Guibernau, More, Smith etc were Kufr, hence stupid! - so what they say is irrelevant, mate!
All that matters is that they have a state that Islamic as per their perception- a transcultural nation-state doesn't really figure in their "pure & simple" minds.

Why did we vote for PAS? No?
Of course you did - a vote for DAP & PKR was a vote faux PAS!
Yes, I too voted them in with my vote for Pakatan Rakyat - becos I wanted BN to wake up from its slumber party. I seriously doubt that I'd have any qualms about voting them out should they insist on saving my soul, instead of concentrating on saving the nation.
As much as I stretch my mind to try and understand their obsession for souls, I cannot seem to find any space for this childish concern of theirs. What's so difficult about minding your own soul and damning mine?
I just don't get it .....

PAS should get its priorities right - it is in politics to save the nation, and not impose "Islam" as it perceives it to be.
I insist that they do not have a monopoly on truths, rights, wrongs or morality.
At times I wish that these guys have to go through poverty, hunger and rape - before they start shouting out their "holier than thou" convictions.

If they are so intent on the afterworld, aren't they in the wrong place (ie national politics)?
They should be running NGOs to provide for the needy, educating the people on the ways of the world, preaching and spending hours in prayer & meditation.
They want "Islamic supremacy" not through winning hearts and minds, but "gunboat diplomacy" - that's "Islam" to them!

They are no better then "Rage Boy" .... that illiterate ex-con, who made waves with his "Islamist Protest" participation!
He was surprised that he made headlines around the world for all the wrong reasons. He just couldn't understand why he was considered a fool in the eyes of the world, when all he wanted, was to be a "good Muslim".
Pathetic, if you ask me .... no wonder many of them end up taking up arms, so as to prove that they are being "better Muslims".

I wonder if the wise ulamas of PAS agree that they actually become "better Muslims" in being confrontational, instead of winning hearts and minds of the "impure" through acts of benevolence, compassion and wisdom.
Hope the leaders of PAS will see the wisdom & virtue in understanding, instead of demanding to be understood and accepted unconditionally through
"gunboat diplomacy" of manic protests.

You give Islam a very "negative image" in the eyes of those who have reached out to you, PAS! Wake up and look around you - the world moves on, leaving you behind because of your arrogance and "holier than thou" ignorance.
You would then be quick to scream foul, "Islamophobia!", adopt a seige mentality and would accuse your allies of being "unIslamic", which would make Amno-philes applaud with glee.

You too- like the "rage-boy", are in danger of being confused by the laughter of the world
!
Wake Up, PAS !
Listen to the voices of Wisdom.
Listen to Dr. Asri -
Stop the Islamic Rhetoric!!!
Try saving the nation for a change!

The SD "Could Be Sub Judice"?

======================================

"In the declaration, Raja Petra claimed that the trio – one of them a prominent woman – were present at the scene during the murder of the Mongolian translator in October 2006.
Copies of the two-paged declaration together with the identity of the trio have been posted on various blog sites.
In the document, Raja Petra said he was “reliably informed” of these allegations.
Musa said the matter could be sub judice as the Altantuya murder case was still being heard.
He also said Raja Petra must be “brave enough to face the consequences if he is bold enough” to make the allegations.

Meanwhile, the Attorney-General’s Chambers has lodged a police report against Raja Petra over the statutory declaration.
Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail said the allegations were “highly defamatory” and if found untrue, those making the allegations would have to face the consequences."
- TheStarOnline, "Cops to probe RPK's Claims"
=======================

Just for some info - Can a lawyer out there help me out on this matter?

If I'm not mistaken, somebody did declare once that - there "aren't anybody else involved" in the murder case?
Is that "contempt of court" or "sub judice" or whatever?

p.s.
I'm not so familiar with the "law/courts" on these matters ... so excuse me, okay)

RPK's C4 Declaration Bombshell!!!

Raja Petra, contacted by Malaysiakini, has confirmed the content of the document.

He further alleged that he has also been ‘reliably informed’ that Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi knows of Najib's (right) wife alleged involvement.

"[...] Abdullah has received a written report from military intelligence confirming what I have revealed and this report was subsequently handed over to his son-in-law Khairy Jamaluddin for safekeeping," he said.

Apart from Abdullah and Khairy, Raja Petra claimed "one of the (Malay) Rulers" has also been briefed about the matter and is fully aware of the allegation.

Police inaction over report

"The purpose of this statutory declaration is to urge all these parties who have been duly informed and have knowledge of this matter to come forward to reveal the truth so that the police are able to conduct a proper and thorough investigation into the murder of Altantuya.

"And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of the Statutory Declaration Act, 1960," he said in his declaration.

altantuya razak baginda mongolian murder case 030907In the phone interview, Raja Petra explained why he did not lodge a police report on the latest allegation which could lead to a fresh police probe on the Altantuya (left) murder.

The blogger said since there was no action over a police report he had lodged in a separate case in 2001 when he was allegedly beaten up by a high-ranking policeman, "I am not bothered in making a police report".

Mahathir, Judiciary, Racists, Samy, Hindraf

============================

Following are excerpts from articles on Malaysiakini:-

"Ex-Supreme Court judge Azmi Kamaruddin claimed that Mahathir had wanted to amend Article 121 of the Federal Constitution - a provision on the separation of power between the legislature, judiciary and the executive.
"I felt that he wanted to rule like a dictator. He (Mahathir) was already the head of legislature (and) he wanted the judiciary to be under his control as well. That was his intention," said Azmi."

"If we can do this, it means that the principle that Azmi and Salleh were trying to uphold in 1988 would achieve its objectives. We don't want a dictator running the country alone where he alone can arrange everything, we want the judiciary to uphold democracy" said Zaid.
The second thing to learn from today, added Zaid, was the necessity to have brave and chivalrous judges whose integrity cannot be questioned.
The prime minister has also announced that the government will establish a judicial appointments commission to identify and recommend suitable candidates for the judiciary to him as part of the judiciary reform.
Azmi's remarks on Mahathir today follow a similar revelation made by a senior High Court judge earlier this month.
Then justice Ian Chin had accused Mahathir of threatening judges in 1997, a claim which was denied by the former premier.
==================================

MIC deputy president G Palanivel today slammed former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad for accusing party chief S Samy Vellu of being a racist and warned such statements could fan deeper racial sentiments.

"He (Mahathir) is wrong when he said Hindraf leaders only represent Tamil racists," said Palanivel in defence to Samy Vellu who has recently joined in the bandwagon in advocating for the release of five Hindraf leaders detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA).
Palanivel delivered a stinging rebuke to the former premier by advising Mahathir "to remember his own roots" before making such statements.
While Palanivel did not elaborate on this, he is likely to be referring to Mahathir's forefathers, who are from South India.
It is widely believed that Mahathir's father, a school teacher, had migrated to Malaysia from the southern Indian state of Kerala and subsequently married a Malay woman.

Dr M: Hindraf represents Tamil racists

In a blog post yesterday, Mahathir chided Samy Vellu for campaigning alongside DAP chairperson Karpal Singh and former UN special rapporteur Param Cumaraswamy in calling him (Dr Mahathir) a racist.
Mahathir criticised Samy Vellu for coveting the government to release Hindraf leaders from ISA despite the fact that Hindraf represented Tamil racists whose motives were akin to Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka.
"In sympathising with Hindraf, Samy exposes his deep racist sentiments," said Mahathir
"They must know that Hindraf represents Tamil racists who still look to their old masters, the British, to protect them. They don't believe in Malaysian institutions," he added.
"They speak not just of Indians but of Tamils as a separate race. They and their apologists are racist to the core," he stressed in his blog post.
Mahathir also said that back when he was the prime minister, Samy Vellu insisted that he was the only leader of the Indians.
"He refused to allow other Indian political parties to join the Barisan Nasional. His arrogance was unbearable. The defeat of the Malaysian Indian Congress is entirely because of him," he said.

Mahathir promises more to come
Mahathir promised to affix extracts from Samy Vellu in his future entries so that readers can then "judge what kind of Indian the Indians have as their leader".

============================

These zealots remind came to mind, when I received this e-mail from a friend ....

If you were around in 1919
(just before the prohibition started)
and came upon the following poster ........

Would you quit drinking?

With such beauty - I know for sure, that I'd need a Chivas - on the double!
Such is the image of "Love" that hyperventilating zealots give Religion/God.

"That party is founded on love, love for Islam.....".
So sayeth Raja Petra in Malaysia Today, time & again.
Maybe so, maybe so .... but I'm in no position to come to such a conclusion, as I haven't said the Kalima.
(
Kalima Tayyab is the testification of faith in Islam. By uttering this Kalima a person is purified from disbelief. An impure person becomes pure. This purification is spiritual.)
There is nothing an impure person like me can say about "love for Islam" or right & wrong - all I know is what I've read, experienced & seen among many a Godmen - which incidently, leaves much to be desired.
Moreover, as some Muslims may say, "Islam is beyond reason & logic" - anyways, to them, what good can the impure minds know, right?
(I'm sure the jock-phobic, intellectually-challenged, holy, illiterate Bangla I met some time back - who knows the Quran by heart, can enlighten me on these matters ....)

The impure me however, isn't so sure about that "love" - it seems to me that despite their conciliatory gestures of late, they are still by & large, plagued by frustrated party-poopers who are quite assertive.

What we see now, may just be the start.
These guys have the fire of repression, envy & frustration in them, and aided by vindictive sore losers, is enough to burn Malaysia into an Arab cultural desert [where the only sign of culture, is a silly desert Bedouin war dance performed by ugly, bearded men .... where the beauty of the women (and catamites, too!) are only for harems of the holy elite ].
Only then can Malaysia hold its head high up among the 'virtuous', to the envy of the civilized world ......

"They" say Islam is beyond human reason & logic.
Maybe so - as long as it doesn't contradict the interpretations of "elite" Godmen, I guess.
(Who says religion is different and should be separated from politics?
It is often just politics of a different brand altogether, that seeks legitimacy/credibility without reason or logic, through a "God". Truth has nothing to do with it. Statecraft or spirituality is a different matter, though ...).
Maybe their brand of Islam is beyond others' Islam too - I don't know, and I wouldn't dare to guess (lest some whacko starts a campaign to tattoo, in the name of God). With the many different ideologies, each of course think that they are "infallible".
In fact, these Godmen are not only beyond reason & logic, but also beyond this world and live in "virtual reality"- they probably cannot be peace loving citizens of any nation on earth! They should live on .... maybe Mars or Mercury? [The
SETI Project should probably look closer to home ;-D]

Just like PKR & DAP, PAS is now on a "political high" after the winning streak of March 8 under the pact with their "allies", and they who are "feeling left out" wish to show it - albeit with an Islamic twist.
The "firebrand" pro-theocracy faction need their day in the sunshine too ....
That was what the threatened protest was all about - a show of power, out of "love".

How can anybody not agree to it - it is about encouraging "love"!
These are events in KL that they believe, results in the many a child "used" by grandfathers/bomohs for entertainment, illegal abortions, ketum/ codeine/syabu addiction, illiteracy, unemployment, ignorance and idolatory in some godforsaken kampung in the backwaters of Kelantan, Terenganu, Pahang or Perlis.
(How can I forget - actually, even among some elite politicians, in urban localities too... but at least they don't walk around in robes or 'ketayap' for tea parties)

Never mind all that - they at least "cover-up", and the don't force *jocks on the "firebrands".

Ella and Mas Idayu on the other hand, don't - and with the increased cost of fuel, the poor guys have to fork out cold-hard cash for jockstraps*!
They are sexy, successful & very 'desirable' - plus, they are beautiful, have nice hair, wear leotards- which will not allow the robed & jock-less holy men from performing their fardu kifayah or fardu ain.
Yes - Their derriere can damn you to hell! The devil sits right there to shake your faith. Can't any virile man understand that? That's all that matters!

Who cares if it doesn't make sense ....
Who cares if the evils that they hope to discourage happens more in the closed & uneducated communities that they encourage .....

Who cares if they are more prevalent in the very community they alight from.....
Who cares for the schools ...
Who cares if the kufr are denied their rights ....
Who cares if tourists don't turn up....
Who cares if businesses take flight ...
Who cares that the "culture of the kufr" isn't the real reason for these ills....
The argument that, "it is beyond logic, brudder ...." - will answer all that.
Surely
Abu Bakr, Umar ibn al-Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan , and Ali ibn Abi Talib would've been awed by these unreasoning minds that defy all logic...

What matters is, these guys get some share of the limelight, even if it allows political rats in power to destabilise Pakatan Rakyat - the only opportunity we've had in 50 yrs to set things right for the future of our children.
Some don't seem to realize that while religion may be their strength, it is also their Achilles Heel - that it is easily used by their adversaries to emasculate them.

Never mind the plunder, rape and suffering that the people have to endure - the idea of sexy successful women will damn you to hell, should these 'enlightened ones' not stop the concert!
Didn't they know that many a reasoning mind would gladly go to the 'human reasoning' hell that they preach?
Or that many are quite comfortable with that, even if it gets their jewels in a twist?
Why would anyone wanna emulate these "god-men" anyways, for heaven's sakes - now that definitely is beyond logic & reason!

Yep - Sometimes, love alone just ain't enough ..... common sense does help!
For others though, maybe turbans, robes, camels or goats will do just fine, thank you.
Is that our culture or what?

Faux PAS?

This ‘example’ frightened me to hell (well, probably my beer would take me there as well).

He replied, “With that kind of lifestyle what is there to live for? It’s not much fun is it?”

Reply to the Petronas fan's Letter

===============================

This post is in response to the earlier post -
E-Mail circulated by a Petronas 'fan'
-------------------------------------------------------

Dear ......,
I'm sure you know where this e-mail comes from ..... at best, it's laughable!
What I write are things that cross my mind, and not for the reading of others, okay...... so here's what I'd say in response:-

Yes - I'm sure Malaysia is the only oil producing country that rents rigs, explores for oil, needs to transport the oil, cannot refine it and has to export it.
Poor ol' Petronas .....
I'm sure we don't sell light sweet crude on the Black market.
I'm sure we don't sell crude for 'loans' from Japan or Korea for our mega projcts that churn billions of ringgit for the economy

Yes we don't have the money - but we have money for Putrajaya, the KLCC twin phallus of pride & ego, Cyberjaya, Paperless Hospitals, PKFZ, Lumut, Bakun Dam, gambling away billions on futures trading, bailing out MISC, giving money for selling nasi lemak, sarong & MLM at work in the 1.2 million strong civil service, building millions on Brickendonbury sports Complex, Working holidays to Europe, Helicopter rides to international Golf courses for fun, Proton tin cans, Motorized bicycles, Rempit trips to North pole, failed Everest expeditions by HP6 monkeys, F1 tracks .... phew!
I'm sorry - I'm already breathless, ......

But of course - We got no money for decent schools.
We got no money for scholarships, so worthy students can study.
We got no money for REAL world-class education & Universities!
We got no money for infrastructure, subsidizing food, cooking oil.
We didn't have money for a lot of things ......

But we do have money for Monsoon Cup, Theme parks in God-forsaken places, funding Kangkung studies by kangkung Proffies who use proxies!!!
Definitely takes your breath away, doesn't it?

Does the oil belong to PETRONAS & gang or the people?
Where does Petronas get it's right to the profits?
God or Government?

Do cronies decide on this secretive Govt controllers, or the people?
I want a share in the company - why isn't it public listed like any other company?
Why can't I buy a share?
Why can't I get some of the profits, even if I have to pay taxes for it?
Why can't the accounts be revealed to the tax-payers and voters who give it the right to explore/ drill/ pump out this God-given wealth?

Of course I do ask about the taxes- and That also gives me the right to ask Petronas, where are the profits?
If I cannot ask, why not?
What have you got to hide it for 50yrs for?
Who are your "external auditors"?
Who are the beneficieries?
Who are the decision makers, shakers & movers??
Where are the AGMs?
Who votes?

Now show us your accounts!!!
Thank You, Petronas!

Subject: This is a very good explanation to all Malaysian

Dear All,

This is lengthy but please bear with me. This is worth reading through ALSO.

We're not actually comparing apple-to-apple here, as most countries listed have a very long reserve life (the amount of years they have till the oil is finished) and they have a low population compared to their oil reserve (hence they can cater to their own needs without any bother to the supply). Some research can do wonders instead of blaming others.

UAE
population = 4,380,000
oil reserve = 97 billion barrels
production rate = 2.5 million barrels per day
Reserve life = 107 years

Kuwait
population = 2,851,000
oil reserve = 99 billion barrels
production rate = 2.5 million barrels per day
Reserve life = 108 years

Saudi Arabia
population = 24,735,000
oil reserve = 260 billion barrels
production rate = 8.8 million barrels per day
reserve life = 81 years

Iran
population = 71,208,000
oil reserve = 136 billion barrels
production rate = 3.9 million barrels per day
reserve life = 74 years

Nigeria
population = 148,093,000
oil reserve = 36.2 billion barrels
production rate = 2.3 million barrels per day
reserve life = 43 years

Venezuela
population = 27,877,000
oil reserve = 80 billion barrels
production rate = 2.4 million barrels per day
reserve life = 91 years

Malaysia
population = 27,452,091
oil reserve = 4.8 billion barrels
production rate = 550,000 barrels per day (resources from internet salah. Aku kira production hari2, sila ikut nombor aku)
reserve life = 33 years

And the Ahmad fisherman notion that we extract oil from the ground without costs, or little cost, is NOT TRUE. Foolish, even.

FYI, to extract oil from the ground, there're 3 main cycle: Exploration, Development and Production. I wont go into lengthy explanation here, lets just have an overview of Drilling campaigns that needs to be carried out on all three cycles.

Drilling Campaign:

Rig: RM552,000 per day (minimum)

->We dont make rigs. We rent them. The deeper the ocean, the pricier the rig. And FYI, shallow waters of Malaysia is running out of oil. We are running the final race on shallow waters , have to concentrate on smaller pore-sized fields and taking the greater risk and more cost on deepwater fields.

Supply boat : RM 209,509 per day (minimum)

-> we need at least 2 supply boats.

Thats the cost of just two of many, many more items involved in Drilling campaigns alone. I'd like to reiterate that these campaigns occur in ALL of the 3 cycles, each campaign is at least 4 months. Do the maths or better yet, put it in a fancy Excel and publish it around.

Thats just costs involved in extracting the oil.

How about transporting it to shore? How about refining it for industries, daily stuff and for your car?

Some may ask why are we selling our oil, since we can use it? Well, here the answer: WE DONT HAVE MONEY. What else can we sell to make money? Tin? Gold? Pepper? Rubber? All these calculated together would not make even a small portion of profit in O&G. Our oil is of one of the best quality in the world because it is low in sulphur. Fyi, we dont need best quality oil for our cars, its only used in industries and in jets. In the international oil price is average USD130/bbl, ours would be close to USD140/bbl.

And then some might additionally ask, SO WHERE DID ALL THE OIL MONEY GO? Please refer to the statistics above, we have less than 50yrs of supply of O&G, although more explorations are aggressively being done in deepwater and smallfields. PETRONAS needs the money to ensure that we have the supply AFTER 50 years. PETRONAS is aggressively pursuing O&G projects overseas, and these projects does not come cheap. In other words, PETRONAS is not the nation's piggy bank, its THE bank for our children's children.

So please, do not be swayed easily by cheap-mouthed politicians who does not have the in-depth knowledge about how the process goes. If they say they want to use our oil money, please do consider our children's children. PETRONAS have been supporting the nation by giving back almost 60% if its profits.

Itu pakai cheap labor tu. Our skilled engineers, even often frustrated by the meager wages they get for risking their lives at sea, sometimes for weeks, still they stay and think of the country. I'm proud to say a lot of them are very patriotic. But also a lot of them are enticed by Middle East countries and others to work for them for more attractive salary. Nak recruit orang baru senang, but we have to train them and training takes 2-3 yrs!. Since we are running our last mile in our existing oilfields, we need experienced workers, and they dont come cheap.

So next time any politician says, DUIT PETRONAS PEGI MANA?, ask them back DUIT CUKAI SAYA PEGI MANA?

:p. I think that would be more appropriate.

Doubletalk:TDM's 'Racenomics'.

=================================

The former prime minister has come one full
circle in his political rhetoric. In the early days of his political career, he was part of a group of young Umno politicians known as the "Ultras".
This group believed that Umno should not share political power and blamed Tunku Abdul Rahman for pandering to other races. In 1995 he promoted the concept of Bangsa Malaysia. Today he has adopted his old rhetoric, perhaps acknowledging that his goal of pushing Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi out of office will only be realised if the Malay ground, particularly Umno members are galvanised into action by fear of losing power.

- The Malaysian Insider

janganlah orang lain kini mahu mempersoalkan hak kita!
- quoted on BigDogDotCom

"We (the Malays) are not the type to protest and have accepted those who came to the country."
"We even accorded them rights unlike other countries,"
he said at a talk titled "The Future of Malaysian Malays" .

"When they speak of their rights, people say it is all right as we live in a multiracial country."
"We have come up with policies to help the Malays without sidelining the interests of other races."
- Mahathir Mohammad (quoted in NST's
"Dr M's 'racist remarks' draw flak")

Here are some "snippets" from Chedet.com of Dr. Mahathir:

Bank Account

1.Several blogs have given space to a scurrilous statement that I, my wife and my children, have USD 199.45 million and S $ 42,000,000 in fixed deposit in the Israeli National Bank in Singapore.

2. The scum who alleges this does not have the guts to give his name.
3. ....................
4. I give full permission for the Israeli National Bank to make public
these accounts
6. As for the anonymous scum, give your true name, I/C and address so that I can sue you.

(Escuzi, Tok - after 4, is 5 - don't let your pressure muddle your brains ... may result in a stroke.
It may just be a blessing in disguise though, should you persist in the furious incontinence of the scum you spout.
Anyway I'll pass the message that he should be kind enough to send you an e-mail with his I/C no. BTW, nice writing Tok - unlike the normal Mutt-hias style .....
Take care, Tok)
============================

Nice "economics" he fights for - demand "a piece of the pie" that's "rightfully" Malays' without taking away what belong to "others"!
Hello, old man - WTF does he think he's been doing all these years - Taking away the opportunities that belonging to whom? Who's been paying taxes as citizens - masquerading Bumiputras in the 1.2 million civil service and GLCs, or the "nons"?
Any Malabaris you know from Kerala paying taxes or studying here, masquerading as Melayu?
He's telling me that you can eat your cake and have it too?
This must be his idea of a sick joke for rempits and monkeys, or a perverted idea of "jizya" and dhimmitude with "hak samarata", right?

He must think that Malaysians/ Malays are all really "donggoi", and don't see through his lies & self-serving political rhetoric!

I don't normally read the old man's cribbing anymore (save for the 'nice expose' on RapidKL lately).
However, since I was a little bored, and wanted some light entertainment, I decided to visit it today. I was truly tickled - What a laugh it was!!
Mind you - comments on his blog are stringently moderated, to avoid "scummy" comments ...... it's okay if he says scummy stuff about "unworthy pendatangs threatening Malay rights" though.
He's 'da man', y'know - so it's okay.

It was really entertaining to read the comments at the blog from an "illustrious leader", who now cries about the “injustices” meted out to him these days, oblivious to the "free, fair & lovely 22 pendatang-Kutty years of fighting for Malay rights".

The "rationale" of the old man is quite "intoxicating" for some of his fans.
Truly amazing, and what a riot!
They actually compete in the Malaysia Bodoh spirit to be first to comment on the blog! Imagine what a glorious achievement that is!
Hmmm ..... So - That's what we call real NEP competition, huh?
It's all so 'intense', really - and gets one all dizzy, wanting to barf ...
He could possibly regain his mental strength if he takes up the offer in the last comment that I copied & pasted here.

Just for laughs, lets take a look at some of the "intense intellectual discourse" (no scum here ...) on CheDet.com - I guess these are the people that he loves to appease with his "Racenomics" :-
(I'm sure he'll get similar responses should he say that his flatulence is the only thing that can save them all)

"im the first ... hehe"
----
"yeah i'm the second..........."
----
"The Blog Alert can assists you to be among the first to read new posts here."

----
"You are blogging with your toughts & truth. I believe you & will support you till the end."
----
"Blog Tun adalah satu-satu tempat rakyat mengadu hal, ibaratkan

What about the Monkeys?

============================

=============================

Raja Petra wrote a nice piece of story in his No Holds Barred column entitled "You eliminate the plague by killing the rats" which was very interesting.
(I wouldn't expect & accept anything less from RPK anyway!)

Very true, RPK - the problem is, the Rats have blinded the Monkeys who grope for peanuts (when they aren't groping the asses, at least).
Many a lesser Monkey fed on these peanuts for just jumping around, are quite happy with it, and demand that the peanuts keep being thrown at them.

It is their right, apparently - That's why we have "Ketuanan Monyet" ideas floating around!
If the Rats are eliminated, who's gonna throw the peanuts at us poor Monyets?
[Yeah - who knows .... maybe I'm one of them too ....;-(]
For Pete's sake - if they don't get their cheese, they may just decide to chew my butt! They already warned all monkeys to that effect during their electioneering campaigns - the fuel price hike is prolly meant to achieve that, with all the rhetoric about losing rights to fuel the discontent!
Shouldn't we be feeding them with more thick cheese to prevent the price of peanuts skyrocketing and availability dwindling?
You don't understand ............. - this Monkey King and King Rat needs monkeys who understand their concept of "financial prudence".
We need Patriotism with a Rat's Kris & the Compassion for the Monkey's Crutch.
That is what we have BTN for - to make the Monyets who understand these sophisticated concepts.
Everybody knows that consumer spending drives the economy ......
To get people spending, what you need to do is give them money for nothing - that is called "subsidy" lah .... ala NEP style.
That's why we need a 1.2 million "strong" civil service, who are all ISO certified "to deliver" what the King Rat wants - Spend, Spend & Spend.
(If you don't finish your budget this year, your allocation will drop in the next - so make sure we have plenty of "conferences", "lawatan sambil belajar", jamuan, hari this & that towards the end of the year ....)

It doesn't really matter if the value of the money slides down the slippery slope - after all they aren't doing much, except thumping their chest in the "Ketuanan Monyet" spirit.
And buying Proton on loans for life, bonded with non-performing "study" loans and thus have become slaves in their own land without realizing it!
Never mind if they are just puffed-up monkeys, in souped-up Proton tin cans ....
That's called a Vote Bank!

Their purchasing power also sliding?
No problem - Mugabe/Mahathir will tell you .... just print more money - the peasants will think they're getting a raise, just becos their pay-slip shows a bigger number, and will thump their chest harder, till it hurts!
[When it hurts, they just need to seek the nearest Hospital/ Pusat Kesihatan for free pills (.... and maybe an MC as well lah). See - the Govt is so compassionate!
It's so easy, Mate - and you "need to understand that".
]
They'll think that the piece of paper signifies wealth - even if it isn't good enough for the toilet.
They'll scramble for the peanuts thrown at them like monkeys - it's real fun, watching these peasants grinning ear to ear, running to spend their money at the malls/petrol pumps/handphone outlets, to feel "hip" & "happening" ....
The idea of wealth creation is lost on our wise guys - they think wealth & money is a piece of paper.
They don't believe in generating wealth thru ideas - wealth has to be waiting for rahmat "durian runtuh" ..... only this time, it is called Petronas Runtuh (or minyak pancut lah).
It is a God given thing, like the durian runtuh, and the minyak pancut - without it, you're supposed to survive on ikan iblis & nasi kosong .... it's really monkeylicous. Period.
Anyone who tells you otherwise is an agent of the despicable Jew, who is intent on destroying the great Islamic nations of the world.

The money/ wealth lost in wasteful spending is peanuts to them - meant to feed the monkeys.
Hey- why should they complain when it assures the Rats access to the precious cheese .....

The Rats are still grinning & skimming.
The peanuts are dwindling.
The monkeys are crying.

The Rat smacks his Lips.
Now, Read My Lips - This is what New Economic Policy (or is it Monkeys' Development Policy since the 90s?) stands for ....
