It's bullshit and a lie, Aminuddin!

"A Voice" says:- "It's bullshit and a lie, Aminuddin!"

Thursday, March 31, 2011

After two years, where is IDR's Perak Amanjaya blueprint?
Or it remain only concept on his fingers?

How is Barisan Nasional to defend Perak when officials in Government and Government-sponsored institute do not heed our warning and remain stubborn? And then come out with a reply that avoids the issue and tries to bullshit and lie.

Does he think we are stupid or something?

It is a discomfort for this blogger to be expected to restrain himself and not play his role because there are those who believe Perak is not quite you call a safe state and one eye should be closed to wrongdoings.

In fact, it is because if Perak is not quite you call a safe state, there is more reasons that there should be no compromise on good governance, efficient use of state resources, and combat against wrongful practices of corruption, cronyism and nepotism or KKN, as some faction in UMNO used to call.

If BN is to lose Perak now, not a single sen must be allowed to leak for some politician to make hay while sunshine.

It is because honesty, integrity and effectiveness in governing and bringing peace, harmony and abundance to the rakyat will be the premise for the people to yearn to see BN return to power.

Barisan Nasional wants to remain in power in Perak forever, thus small things must not be allowed to add up to be a problem.

With that bit of sermon, the response by Institut Darul Ridzuan (IDR)'s CEO, Aminuddin Amin's (read in Perak Today here) on our allegation of the wrongful manner in the appointment of Talent Solution as consultant for PEKA (read past posting here and here) is best described as a dud.

"It's bullshit and a lie, Aminuddin!"

In case, Aminuddin or anyone would like to point fingers or blame others for this bloggers writing, mind you that is an insult. This blogger is quite aware that Aminuddin have been openly expressing that thought.

Let me say this to him, "F**k you!"

This blogger answers to nobody and can be told by nobody. This blog is not one of those that mushroomed after BN's loss after 2008 and need to be encouraged, trained and taught to blog. No offense intended to those bloggers.

In case this mother*ucker does not know, this blog existed since 2005, 6 *ucking years ago. This blogger have been in the political cyberwar defending BN and UMNO since the reformasi days and have a sleepy Prime Minister with a wicked son-in-law as casualty in his batch of honour.

Don't ever *ucking say that someone can *ucking tell me to write this and that. I will write what I want to write and at my own time, *ucker!

Because I have been insulted, my reply will not be kind.

How can Aminuddin deny that Talent Solution is not his crony and claim that the individuals involved in the company have been in the business for 15 years?

Read back what is written here and tell us how he could make such claim?

Kota Damansara based, Talent Solution is only registered three month ago. The two Directors of Talent Solution are Wan Azrain, former Education Manager with NCER and Amie Yusnizar, administrative assitance with an American bottling plant in Petaling Jaya.

Both of them probably never had a total 15 years employment experiance. Neither have they any recruitment or job placement experiance nor are they Perakians.

He *ucking lied!

Sex and the Decay of the M'sian State

*******************************************************
(sorry Malaysiakini- I thought this was damn good and truly want more people to read it)

************************************************
The interweaving of sex, money and power to kill a political opponent has dominated Malaysian politics for more than a decade, leading to the decay of its pillars of integrity.

First, the recent pornographic screening of a sex video in a hotel for the press involving a foreign sex worker is an assault on all women. Prostitution and pornography harm women. Prostitution commodifies women, exploits their poverty and powerlessness.

Pornography portrays women as sexual objects and men as consumers of a sex industry dominated by corruption, crime such as trafficking of women.

How is it possible for a foreign woman to work as a sex worker in a KL spa without the knowledge of the police, the Immigration and City Hall? Aren't these authorities monitoring the activities of spas? (I am hearing women now fear going to spas as they seem to be fronts for prostitution and there are cameras to capture women showering, having a massage.)

The screening of this video in government-owned Carcosa Seri Negara is not possible without state sanction.

One of the trio involved is an Umno stalwart, former chief minister, current chairman of Risda - the association to protect the interests of rubber smallholders, who have remained poor and powerless. The chairman has abused his powers as head of a government organisation to use a state facility to screen a pornographic video.

azlan(Former Malacca chief minister Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik, businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Pertubuhan Pribumi Perkasa Malaysia (Perkasa) treasurer Shuib Lazim, have admitted that they were part of the 'Datuk T' trio responsible for keeping and screening the video to members of the media at Carcosa Seri Negara last week.)

The chairman should not only be charged with breach of section 292 of the Penal Code but also perhaps with corruption. Transparency International defines corruption as abuse of power.

But a Minister in the Prime Minister's Department has announced that the purveyors of the sex video would be offered protection under the Witness Protection Act as well as the Whistleblowers Act if there is a case against them. (He later made an about-turn.) This will defeat the purpose of these two pieces of legislation in cases related to rape, child abuse and corruption, etc.

Pillars of integrity decaying rapidly

The national pillars of integrity are decaying rapidly when those who have breached laws of the country are assured protection by the state. Have we begun to revere those who flaunt laws to kill political opponents? Once we have reached such a stage, crime and corruption become non-issues in the election of political representatives.

Parliament is a fundamental pillar of a nation's integrity system. Parliament must comprise of individuals of integrity. Parliament will lose whatever respect it has if it is going to be filled with those who have abused their positions, bribed and rigged themselves into power.

Said Niccolo Machiavelli, “Those who talk about the peoples of our day being given to robbery and similar vices will find that they are all due to the fact that those who ruled them behave in the same manner.” When the incidence of crime such as robberies, rape, child abuse, corruption etc increase, it is a reflection of a decaying legislature .

The executive used sex in 1998 to send to jail Anwar Ibrahim, a political opponent the state feared. After serving a six-year jail term, the conviction against sodomy was overturned. But the significant gains made by the opposition in 2008 rang alarm bells for the state (the party in power). Again, sex became the weapon for seeking the demise of a powerful opponent. Anwar is on trial for the second time on charges of sodomy.

The role of an important pillar of integrity, an independent judicial system, is central for a just, open and accountable government. The overturning of the first sodomy charge against Anwar speaks volumes about the independence and accountability of the judiciary. Was the judiciary independent of the executive in this sex and the state case?

NONEThe revelations of a former director-general of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Shafee Yahaya (right), during Anwar's trial throws light on the interference of the executive in the functions of the ACA.

Shafee's court statement was related to former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's directive that the ACA cease investigating then Economic Planning Unit director-general Ali Abul Hassan Sulaiman in June 1998. In his recent memoirs, Mahathir referred to Shafee as a hostile witness in the sodomy case. Shafee is a rare civil servant who stood up for the truth.

When the state uses sex to stay in power, the decay of the pillars of integrity such as the Parliament, police, judiciary, ACA, local authorities, Immigration, media and civil society becomes imminent.

Information central to integrity system

It has been said power is about controlling the means of communication. But information is central to a nation's integrity system. A free media and an independent judiciary are powerful counter forces to check those in positions of power.

azlanThe Malaysian media, particularly the mainstream media's reporting of the ongoing sodomy case and screening of a sex video obviously favours the proprietors of the media. The media owners are primarily political parties in the ruling coalition. I have yet to see an editorial condemning the use of sex by the state to kill political opponents. The mainstream media appears to have gone into damage control mode to protect those who screened the sex video.

Civil society, another pillar of integrity, gains its legitimacy from promoting the public interest. The sex video is a matter of grave public interest. In the 1998 sodomy case, children were asking parents: what is sodomy? Today I am told, some young people are asking, “Why are grandfathers involved in the screening of sex videos??”

What message are we sending to our young? That it is all right to use sex to get rid of your opponents?? Civil society, particularly, women's groups, religious entities, parents, etc must stop this rot.

When the state uses sex as a weapon to destroy political opposition, political leaders will not be remembered as statesmen but as practitioners of gutter politics.

" Having wearied of the struggle to be himself,
he has created his own boredom out of his own affluence,
his own impotence out of his own erotomania,
his own vulnerability out of his own strength;
himself blowing the trumpet that brings the walls
of his own city tumbling down until at last....;
having educated himself into imbecility,
and polluted and drugged himself into stupefaction,
he keels over a weary, battered old brontosaurus and becomes extinct.”

This is what a website ("WanWMA") has mentioned about this issue
(please go to the website for his own opinion):

Saya terbaca banyak perkara tentang Poco-poco yang diharamkan. Namun pengharaman itu tiadbukti sahih dan bukan dijatuhkan oleh badan berwajib. Ia cuma dinyatakan oleh sebuah email yang tidak tahu siapa penulisnya, di mana dia mendapat fakta, apakah butinya dan sejauh mana kebenarannya. Bagaimanapun email ini telah tersebar luas dalam internet samada melalui email mahu pun blog. Inilah email yang saya maksudkan:

Assalammualaikum.

Alhamdulillah kerana kita semua masih bernafas lagi dgn keizinanNya.

Lihatlah sahaja bagaimana pergerakannya, yg membentuk salib.

Mungkin kita x perasan kerana kita suka mengikut2 sesuatu yg baru tanpa usul periksa. Inilah cara musuh2 islam mengenakan kita sedangkan kita tahu apabila kita melakukan sesuatu yg menyerupai sesuatu agama maka kita dikira merestui agama itu seperti amalan yoga yg telah difatwakan haram kerana menyerupai agama hindu.cuma tarian pocoh2 ini belum difatwakan haram lagi. Marilah kita sama2 fikirkan.

tarian poco-poco

So to all those exercise lovers- a friendly warning:-
Beware of your physical movements, okay ....
(especially when you wake up in the morning to stretch)
lest you make movements with "soul-worshipping & Christian elements"
and God-forbid- your faith be shaken .....

Protect and defend Christians’ right to use the Alkitab

Protect and defend Christians’ right to use the Alkitab

By The Christian Federation of Malaysia

We are grateful to Almighty God for bringing together Christian leaders from across churches in Semenanjung, Sabah and Sarawak to address the current controversy surrounding the impounding of Bahasa Malaysia Bibles, the Alkitab, at Port Klang and Kuching. This decision weighs heavily on us because of the implications not only for Christians but for all Malaysians.

We are united in our reaffirmation of the freedom of religion and worship. Therefore, our position is that there should be no restrictions, proscriptions or prohibitions whatsoever on the bible or the use of the language of our choice in the practice of our religion, as it was in the days before and after the formation of Malaysia.

Christians, like any other Malaysian, are not demanding for anything beyond our constitutional and fundamental human rights as enshrined in Article 11(1) of the Federal Constitution and Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The current controversy surrounding the Alkitab is just one of many issues that concerns Christians. There has been a systematic and progressive pushing back of the public space to practise, to profess and to express our faith. For example, the wearing and displaying of crosses and other religious symbols, the use of religious words and the construction of places of worship have been restricted.

When Christians express this concern, we do so not just for ourselves but on behalf of all Malaysians. Our faith forms a critical component of our identity as Malaysians in nation-building as enshrined in the first pillar of our nation’s Rukunegara: Belief in God.

As regards the offer made by the government on 22 March 2011, we respectfully state that this does not address the substantive issues. In point of fact, our previous offer made in 2005 to use the term “A Christian Publication” was only honoured in respect of one shipment of the Alkitab. Subsequent shipments were similarly held up and subjected to further arbitrary conditions for release.

In order to move forward, we call on the Government to commit itself once and for all to remove every impediment, whether legal or administrative, to the importation, publication, distribution and use of the Alkitab and indeed to protect and defend our right to use the Alkitab.

This includes revoking all orders made under the Internal Security Act 1960, which have declared the Alkitab as a threat to national security. Neither can the Alkitab be considered a threat to public order under the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984. We categorically reject the characterisation of our Holy Scriptures in this manner.

Instead, we see our Holy Scriptures as providing enlightenment and direction. In the words of the psalmist, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105). In the New Testament is stated the teaching that we hold dear and true: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (II Timothy 3:16)

We remain committed to work with the Government for a viable and long- term solution where the detailed processes and procedures are made clear and unequivocal and so long as our fundamental liberties as enshrined in the Federal Constitution are not infringed.

As for the copies of the Alkitab that have been impounded and desecrated, we reiterate our position that the action of the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) in stamping the bibles amounts to an act of defacement, disrespect and treating with disdain the holy book of the Christians.

Given the unfortunate experience of KDN’s tendency of taking arbitrary action without consulting affected parties or respecting the religious sensitivities of the Christian community, any decision to collect copies of the Alkitab which have been stamped and serialised would be with a view to prevent the possibility of further arbitrary acts of desecration, disrespect or destruction being committed against the Holy Scripture of the Christians by KDN and its officers.

We have left it to the two importers to decide whether or not to collect the Alkitab, based on their different specific circumstances and level of trust in the authorities and the processes in their local context.

Nevertheless, no matter what their decision is, we remain united in our common stand to uphold the principle of freedom of religion which includes the free availability without hindrance or obstacle of the Alkitab and all sacred scriptures in Malaysia.

We continue to call on all peace-loving Malaysians to pray for a dignified resolution to these critical issues in the life of our nation.

Mr. Moo's Interlok-ing Love, Scorned .....

Now Chinese claim ‘Interlok’ racist

March 30, 2011

Muhyiddin appeared to have laid the matter to rest last week. — file pic
KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 — Fresh trouble is brewing over the use of “Interlok” in schools, with Chinese groups today condemning the novel’s depiction of Chinese characters as greedy, opium-smoking lechers keen to exploit Malays for profit.

Having weathered a storm of controversy from the Indian community over the novel’s use of the word “pariah”, the Education Ministry now faces Chinese calls to drop the “racist” book from the Form Five Bahasa Malaysia syllabus.

In a statement today, Chinese associations from across Malaysia said the book was not only offensive to Indians but Chinese as well, as it depicted the character Kim Lock as a “miserly opium addict and callous adulterer” and his son, Cing Huat, as “cunning, greedy, unscrupulous and someone who would happily sell his daughters”.

“‘Interlok’ in its totality propagates the ideology of ketuanan Melayu. In our considered opinion, this novel is not only unhealthy but an insidious poison,” the statement said.

“In fact, ‘Interlok’ is barely a step away from the Biro Tata Negara (BTN) brainwashing that promotes racism and disunity. ‘Interlok’ conveys the central message that Chinese, Indian and other minorities are second-class citizens in addition to perpetuating the divisive notion of a host community (the Malays) versus foreigners (‘bangsa asing’ Cina dan India).”

The groups also condemned the “major thread” in the book, which depicts the Chinese “cheating and oppressing” Malays or as “nasty and immoral” communist guerrillas.

The statement was signed by the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH), LLG Cultural Development Centre, Malaysian-China Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Chinese Associations Johor, the Penang Chinese Town Hall and 40 others, including the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism (MCCBCHST), Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia (SABM) and several Indian organisations.

Some excerpts appended as evidence of the book’s alleged racism include:

* “We eat anything. Roots if we can get them. We beg. We steal. We don’t have a daughter. If we have a daughter, we can sell her.” (Kim Hock, pp 119-120)

* Kim Lock takes Mei Hwa to smoke opium and has sex with her every time they meet like that. (p 200)

* In a big and strange city like this, people cannot be kind, if they are kind they can’t be rich. Here money becomes the measure. In this world, money is the number two God. (pp 155-156)

* “Cina Panjang says all that land rightfully belongs to him. The cows we kept are also his. My father pawned it to him.” (p 88)

* Seman said he gave all the land to Cina Panjang, and the Chinese man then asked Seman to leave the kampung. (p 92)

BANGKIT BARISAN RAKYAT BLOGGERS!

(From "zorro-unmasked")

While the role of the Internet and of the new media is expanding, the opposition press is being subjected to censorship, and the government is attempting to prepare the media landscape for the approaching elections. In view of the proposed cyber sedition law, and the fact that bloggers and critics are still under pressure, social networks seem to be the most effective cure for any impulse to practice self-censorship and the best stage for much-needed debates which the traditional media cannot cover.

Malaysian bloggers are still under strong pressure, and their positions are finding substantial support among Malaysian citizens, who are no longer content with the official version of "the facts." For now, it is the blogs, news websites and social networks which are reporting events in the Arab world, while the traditional media provide minimal coverage. In view of the approaching elections, the arm wrestling between bloggers and the authorities is likely to get tougher.
