Raja Petra does not turn up in court, again

By M. Mageswari, The Star

Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamaraudin failed, again, to appear for his sedition trial at the Sessions Court here on Friday.

DPP Shah Rizal Abdul Manan told judge Aslam Zainuddin that the arrest warrant issued on April 23, when he also did not turn up in court, had yet to be executed on him.

He also said a notice for the editor’s wife Marina Lee Abdullah to summon her to explain Raja Petra’s absence at the sedition trial was also not executed.

Raja Petra’s lead counsel J. Chandra applied to the court to adjourn sine die (idefineitely) for the case until the police succeeded in arresting his client.

  1. Tun Daim Zainuddin has personally told Dr Mahathir that Singapore possesses all the evidence that Najib, Razak Baginda and Altantuya met at the Oriental Hotel in Marina Square one year before she died.

This means, with the evidence that Singapore possesses, they would be able to blackmail Najib. Surely Dr Mahathir would not want someone who can be blackmailed into doing Singapore’s bidding become the next prime minister knowing how he feels about Singapore and those perceived as under Singapore’s control?

  2. That would be common sense - I doesn't take a revelation from Tun Daim or RPK for one to figure that out. After all, which diamond exhibition (as alleged by Bala the invisible) wouldn't have CCTV, right?

Strange though, that there was no news saying that the PDRM investigated this allegation through the very "cooperative" and efficient Singapore Police/Intel.
One can only wonder when the chips will be down ....

Anyways - it was a peculiar thing this Najib's state visit to Singapore --- LHL visited Najib in his hotel, and not as convention, at the PM's office/residence.

  3. AG & IGP are both clowns.
AG lost in the extradition case of a former malaysian banker from Australia in a case involving millions.
That banker is now the mayor of a town in Australia.
In malaysia AG can win cases bcos of loaded benches, overseas he is laughed and sneered at.
Like the pathetic forgery he attempted to win at the Hague….S`pore won the case.
RPK is a dual passport holder (mum was from UK) so after attempting the extraditing, AG will be extricating himself (after he`s made a thorough fool of himself).

    -Banker

P.S.: The m`sian bank was cooperative central bank....I think you`ll be able to get that banker`s name, doc
N when u do, u gonna have fun with your next post :)
