Doesn't matter if you were a Saint, Hanif- YOU ARE disqualified by your prejudice!!

Former inspector-general of police (IGP) Hanif Omar has urged his critics to check his track record in previous investigating committees before questioning his integrity to lead the independent panel to probe police brutality during Bersih 3.0 rally.

Bar Council: Ex-IGP unfit to lead panel

The Bar Council president Lim Chee Wee says the former IGP disqualified himself by calling some of the Bersih 3.0 protesters communists.
FMT ALERT
KUALA LUMPUR: The Bar Council said former inspector- general of police Hanif Omar is not suitable to head the independent panel to probe the police violence that took place during the Bersih 3.0 rally.
Speaking at a press conference after chairing the Bar Council’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) today, its president Lim Chee Wee said Hanif disqualified himself by taking a stand against Bersih 3.0 earlier.
“It’s unfortunate that the former IGP referred to some of the protesters as communists,” he added.
On April 28, tens of thousands marched in the nation’s capital but the rally was marred with reports of police assaulting scores of protesters and journalists.
Subsequently, Hanif reportedly told the media that some of the demonstrators were communists as he recognised their faces.

What next? "Dracula to Audit the Blood Bank"?

Some may wonder why I don't write as I used to anymore ...
It is just that we don't need any arguments against the mindless UMNO hordes- for they themselves, are the arguments against themselves (hope that makes sense). Their actions speak for themselves ... Res ipsa loquitur.

Lately, true to the UMNO style- they have picked our beloved ex-IGP, Hanif Omar, to lead an "independent" panel of experts into the BERSIH inquiry. I can only imagine that it was in line with the advice of another dinosaur called Mahathir ...

Incidentally, this dinosaur (who lives in a long extinct time & space), had made it quite clear he is of opinion that the opinion that Communists were behind BERSIH 3.0. He reportedly told Bernama (the UMNO mouthpiece), "I recognise from the photos and broadcast images (taken from the rally), the pro-communist people who were involved in the 1970s demonstrations."
And you, Hanif- If you had/have any sense of integrity, you would withdraw from the panel of inquiry. You in your old age ... have you lost all sense of shame too?

UMNO, oh UMNO .... They just don't care what the people or the world think of them- they just do whatever pleases them. Just when we think they have reached the abyss of shamelessness- they prove us wrong.

The UMNO regime bears all the hallmarks of a decadent regime crumbling . They are being given all the opportunities to  reform themselves- but like a drug-addict in cold-turkey, they just crave for more of their self-destructive habit/ behavior.
The way I look at it, for better or worse, it is only a matter of time before they come crashing down.

It has been said that "He who closes his ears to the views of others shows little confidence in the integrity of his own views"
And then they wonder why people want them out ....

YOURSAY 'Hanif Omar thinks there are communists in Bersih 3.0 which he says was a coup attempt. He is also a former cop. How independent can this panel be?'

Ex-IGP Hanif Omar leads Bersih 3.0 probe panel

your sayKairos: The whole exercise of the 'independent panel' is a whitewash. The head of the panel, former inspector-general of police Hanif Omar, has certainly disqualified himself by his recent comments that the purpose of the Bersih rally was to topple the government.

Mushiro: By appointing Hanif to head this commission, it shows that Najib is not bothered about public perception and is not bothered about wanting to be seen to be fair.

Quigonbond: I'm fell off my chair being totally impressed with the "independent panel". Sin Chew legal head and Sinar Harian editor wouldn't give an independent analysis of events because there is still a licence revocation fear hanging overhead .....
And the head of the panel himself, who's just fresh from accusing Bersih 3.0 of attempting to overthrow the government, is surely the most qualified, having vested interest being deputy chairman of a casino company.

Tidakboleh: The finding is a foregone conclusion - Hanif will conclude that his original suspicion (from a vantage point in the Genting Casino) that communists of the 1970s era have infiltrated the movement is true.
His recommendation will be to declare a state of emergency, dissolve Parliament and the country to be ruled by NOC II (National Operations Council II), headed by none other than Najib, with Dr Mahathir Mohamad as adviser.

Kangaroo: Witnesses should boycott the panel headed by Hanif as he has made biased statements against Bersih.

1Mockery: Hanif to head the "independent" panel - this is a mockery.
Please include some politicians too - Zulkifli Nordin, Hasan Ali, don't forget Ibrahim Ali. They will be the world's best independent panel in the world's best ‘democrazy'.

AkuDahUbah: One word sums it all up, credibility. After his outburst regarding the communists in Bersih, and his implicit support for the harsh police crackdown, what credibility does this man have?

Masturbation, PDRM? Oh boy- what a Low Down Dirty Shame!!

Student arrested during Bersih 3.0 asked by cops if he masturbates

KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 — A student arrested for alleged acts of violence during the Bersih 3.0 rally was allegedly asked by police while under detention whether he masturbated or was involved in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LBGT) activities.
Lawyers for student activist Khalid Ismath, who was arrested for allegedly kicking a policeman during the Bersih 3.0 rally, today expressed “shock” over the interrogation tactics used by the authorities on Khalid, “who had willingly surrendered to the police to assist investigation”.
“Khalid was asked many times if he likes to masturbate,” Latheefa told a press conference at the PKR headquarters here today.
“They also asked him if he was involved in LGBT activities, why he was on Facebook as it belonged to a Jew, and why he was paying so much for his Internet bills as the money was being contributed to Jews,” she added.
She stressed these questions had nothing to do with ongoing investigations into the alleged violence and were instead similar to questions posed to detainees under the now-abolished ISA (Internal Security Act).
“What have these things got to do with the reason why he was arrested?” she asked.
Latheefa said the questions were a form of “sexual harassment” and also claimed that Khalid was tortured while under detention.
“When Khalid was in detention, he was kept in a cold room with the air-conditioner and fan turned on. This was a way to pressure him. It’s a form of torture,” the fiery lawyer said.
Her colleague N. Surendran also alleged that the ongoing investigation into Bersih “is not actually a genuine investigation”.
“It is a political propaganda investigation in order to further the agenda of Umno and Barisan Nasional,” Surendran, who is also PKR vice-president, said.
“The police are being manipulated, used, with the agreement of the top police leadership to carry out political investigations against innocent civilians, citizens who were participants in Bersih 3.0,” he added, likening the interrogation tactics used on Khalid to “terror tactics used in Syria by Assad’s forces”.
“Their intention is to frighten people so they can no longer gather peacefully outside, question the government and put fear in those who were brave enough to peacefully gather in the city on April 28.”

Desi Replies:- RPK, you are still a LIAR and a COWARD! No wonder, Umno took you in!

RPK, you are still a LIAR and a COWARD! No wonder, Umno took you in!

I have stopped reading m2day for a few years now, especially after I faced-off with the fugitive blogger-owner living the high life in London; but sometimes secondary or third parties would bring Desi's attention to his current articles/fiction where he had mentioned Desi-Y:L Chong as part of a PKR complot against him.

Yesterday a close BUMmer kaki told me that the devil-in-disguise has again cited my name, alongside Malaysia Chronicle and its founder-editor Ms Wong Choon Mei. More seriously RPK continued with a sin in Islam greater than murder -- committing SLANDER (Membuat Fitnah) and character-assasination against an MP YB Tian Chua of Batu.

Let me go on record that I was a card-carrying member in PKR from January 2005; had also been a member in DAP the previous decades.

I DON'T OFFER any apologies for facing-off with the privileged blogger hydeing up in luxury living when I beg to differ with him strongly ON THE ISSUES, but now since he has been a BANKRUPT, he cares two hoots about DEFAMING PKR leaders with whom he once marched alongside to topple the evil BN-UMNO regime.

YES, we have been told for several years by RPK's statutory declaration that his well-informed sources claimed that ROSMAH MANSOR was at the scene of where Mongolian beauty-translator Altantuya Shaariibuu was murdered. Conveniently, years later, RPK spun a story ala-Arabian Nights that is to the effect: "No, it is not possible for a woman to go into the jungle in the middle of the night!"

Then the famous/notorious RPK gave a new meaning to the word GO-STAN by appearing on TV3 on the one hand saying he's still fighting for Change and a Better Malaysia, yet he constantly and viciously attacks Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim just before the Sarawak State Electons, and again on various mainstream media on New Year's Day 2012, focusing on all the weaknesses of Anwar again and PKR in general.

Do you think I was surprised? Well, read my article which led to his (RPK's) Declaration of War, and my calling him "a Liar and a Coward", the latter piece which drew no reaction at all from the "great RPK", a term coined aptly by MChronicle!
Also as to why the sudden RPK attack seems to be he was found out in this story  RPK, admit it: You're lying through your teeth to help Nong Chik beat Nurul in GE-13.
I would only reprise TWO OF MY POSTS later which are relevant to preliminary rebutting RPK's latest writing titledEpisode 30: A declaration of war, which I won't dignity with full reproduction, but if you think it worthw'ile, go to this LINK:

Let me first reproduce the THREE (3) "segments" in RPK's piece which I would comment on:

(1) So, Malaysia Chronicle a.k.a. Suara Tian Chua, do we continue? What more shall we talk about? Shall we talk about how Desi YL Chong was rejected by Malaysiakini and Free Malaysia Today before he joined Malaysia Chronicle to become a member of Tian Chua’s team? Shall we talk about how Wong Choon Mei was sacked from Malaysiakini for misconduct before she joined Malaysia Chronicle to become a member of Tian Chua’s team?

(2) Malaysia Chronicle, a.k.a. Suara Tian Chua, is basically Desi YL Chong, Wong Choon Mei and Tian Chua. This is the Chinese mafia in PKR that I talked about in an earlier article. Even DAP does not like this Chinese gang and many a conflict between DAP and PKR since 1999 was because of this PKR Chinese mafia. In fact, the DAP people just hate the PKR Chinese mafia and would rather negotiate with the Malays in PKR than with this Chinese gang.

and

(3) Shall we talk about the people Tian Chua sent to Korea for training on how to organise demonstrations so that the Bersih rallies can be turned into violent demonstrations like in Korea?
My rebuttals to the three points follow, --only where as far as YL Chong, the journalist in me, and as Desiderata, the BUMmer in me, normally signed off as "knottyaSsusual:) is concerned -- and my assessment of what FICTION RPK is continuing to churn out copiously after he was "turned over", -- for how much USD, pound sterling or RM (also short for Rosmah, what a coincidence in Malaysian history eh!):
* (1) Firstly, let me reiterate that I have been a freelance journalist-blogger for the past ten years; yes, I have been an Editorial Consultant prior to that period at Malaysiakini.com as its first News Editor. Yes, I served as Consultant Editor in the first five months at freemalaysiatoady.com from its gestation period into first three months.
But I also had served at two other online sites, for more than a year each at klsetracker.com and as inaugural news editor at cpiasia.net, for which I had given my best and I leave it to my peers who served with me to judge my record, NOT OUTSIDERS LIKE RPK AND HIS HARDCORE FANS (naming a few, Harris Ibrahim, Zorro, whisperer....I will add on more later, so Pateince OK!:)WHO RESORT OFTEN TO FOUR-LETTER RPK's  ROYAL&HALFBREEDLOUDMOUTH VOCAB LEARNT IN THE U.K. PUBS and OTHER DARK HOUSES OF PLEASURE TO CURSE AND SWEAR when they can't win a debate via reason and rational discourse.
** (2) I had also told off RPK that I am neither a shareholder or staff at Malaysia Chronicle, and the editor herself had put the record straight which RPK himself picked up for publication at m2day. However, may I just add YES, I AM A PROUD CONTRIBUTOR as a freeance journalist to MChronicle, SO WHAT? Digressing a bit/byte -- which is a Blogger's privilege to abuse, so why don't you get on board? --I  think Malaysia is STILL A FREE WORLD IN CYBER-SPACE, thanks to ex-PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad's MSC and its Bill of Guarantee ensuring NO CENSORSHIP OF THE INTERNET and that bungkling olde fool of Minister of Information and Communications and Culture who tries very hard to breach to please his UMNO he's beholden to and that Omnipotent Master-you-know-who!
"Me a Chinese mafia member, along with Choon Mei and Tian Chua, Yang Mulia RPK?" - RPK, thou giveth Desi too much credit, but I don't get that sort of credit you get as a turn-around sexpert. YES, you read right! -- "Sexpert" because this coward of a fugitive thrives on making innuendoes on his opponents' sex adventures with no solid foundation -- ala Datuk T trio remember? Mr millionaire-bankrupt RPK, how about providing us with current PM's sexploit with a singer-beauty in Port DICKson one fine night not so long ago you cunt remember! Okay, go aRsEk another pendek ex-MB ISA SAMAD, now chairman of Felda despite being found guilty of MONEY POLITICS IN UMNO PARTY ERECTIONS.. Oooops, elections!
*** (3) ") Shall we talk about the people Tian Chua sent to Korea for training on how to organise demonstrations..." -- Hey, royal Blogger, thou giveth too much credit to the Batu MP-lah! He himself got that sort of money and expertise like your UMNO friends/sponsors? Either you are high on drugs, or rubbing too often that pair of Dada on a "Cina Pendek" night&day and day&night to continue spinning Arabian 1,0001 Nights tales; but this is not the era of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves.(Digressing&Confession: I was "reluctant" to take a dig at that moniker reference on poor Marina Lee Abdullah who now pays for the SINS OF HER HUSBAND, what I'm doing is following the axiom WHAT IS GOOD FODDER FOR THE GOOSE, IS BADDER FOR THE GANDER, for recently RPK called Desi a "China Pendek"!)
Malaysia Today is in the ERA OF THE INTERNET AND NOW MODERN ALI  DADA like you, RPK -- and the whole bunch of 21st century daylight robbers -- won't be able to hide the ill-gotten billions they robbed from the PUBLIC COFFERS now stashed away in Swiss banks. Your fugitive days are numbered as Pakatan Rakyat supported by the Rakyat-ala-Bersih3.0 march in unison to take over Putrajaya cometh GE-13.

MPS Harassing Pet Owners - yet again ... despite promises.

Despite promises by MPS to solve problems related to pet ownership, to date nothing has happened.

However, there have been periodic harassment from the MPS officers serving notices to Pet owners citing "Kacau-ganggu" as per Local Govt Laws ...
How "memelihara 2 ekor anjing" is called "kacau-ganggu" is beyond me ... but apparently it is a nuisance to keep a pet- despite the fact that local govt laws permit pets.

Even if there were cases of nuisance by dogs in Amansiara, wouldn't it be reasonable for MPS to serve warning letters citing the form of "nuisance" they speak of? Do they have any evidence at all? Do they even know what they are doing?

It is this kind of mindless actions on the part of the local government which earns it much negative image it has among pet lovers.

Here's what has been published at Pet Positive on this matter:-

PETPOSITIVE: Amansiara Pet Owners' Heckles Raised This Morning

Monday, May 07, 2012

PETPOSITIVE NEWSFLASH!
DATELINE AMANSIARA, SELAYANG, SELANGOR
PET LOVERS RESIDING IN THE LOCAL TOWNHOUSE HERE RECEIVED A NASTY SHOCK THIS MORNING.
OFFICERS FROM THE SELAYANG MUNICIPAL COUNCIL (MPS) DELIVERED A NOTICE DEMANDING THEM TO GIVE UP THEIR PETS WITHIN THREE DAYS OR RISK BEING FINED RM1000.00 OR FACE JAIL FOR SIX MONTHS.
A check by PET+BLOGSPOT with an official from the Health Department of MPS has confirmed the issuance of the notice.
The incident naturally raised the heckles of many pet owners who accused the council of failing to tackle the real issue of pet irresponsibility by going after the culprits than to blame all dog owners.
About 50 residents of Amansiara own dogs.
A responsible pet owner in the Townhouse with two dogs told PET+BLOGSPOT that animal lovers will fight this ruling all the way.
They intend to hold a demonstration against the ruling at the MPS headquarters soon. They also intend to get the help of Member of Parliament for Selayang William Leong to resolve the matter.
They also plan, if need be, to take the matter to take the matter right up to Selangor State Executive Councillor for Health Dr A Xavier Jayakumar.

On our part, PETPOSITIVE will firmly back the efforts of all responsible pet owners in Amansiara for their actions.

This is not the first time that the MPS has come under fire for its management of dog issues.

Animal NGOs - including the Canine Advisory Team of the Petaling Jaya City Council and Majlis Perbandaran Klang - have called for the setting up of monthly canine committee (CAT) to resolve animal issues in the council.

Whilst MPS had promised to set up such a body - with the participation of Department of Veterinary Services - it has been learnt that there has been no such meeting since.

Said Petpositive President Anthony Thanasayan of the latest developments, "MPS is making a grave error by targeting innocent pet owners who are responsible for their pets. The turn of events could very well blow up in the council's face which will not at all be good for their image."

Violence and Bloodshed- All over an Empty Patch of Cow Grass ...

It is now a week since Bersih 3.0.
I couldn't really make much sense of what happened- to the Police, that is- for them to unleash the violence which they claim was provoked by the protesters at Dataran, when the barriers were breached.
One moment they were all relaxed and cool- the next, vicious rottweilers attacking those they are entrusted to protect.

Me- I was with the Medical Team walking from Brickfileds, thru Jln Tan Cheng Lock to Pasar Seni .... then on to Masjid Jamek (carrying an +/- 8kg backpack with equipments/supplies). We were there to provided medical services to anyone who may have needed it.
During the walk from Brickfields- everything was really cool (except the sun- which was blistering hot). I was actually impressed with the restraint shown by the police, and was actually full of praise for them ...
But suddenly I heard someone say "We are under Attack!! We are under attack!!" the walkie-talkie .... then pops of the tear gas.
Then we started going about with the work we came for- courtesy of the Pasukan D'Rottweiler Malaysia ... and as they say, the rest is history.
During that time, I chose to focus on my work, and so didn't pay much attention to what was happening around me- but I was horrified to see what actually took place via Facebook/ YouTube/ images/accounts/articles later that night.

And all these injuries/violence and criminal intimidation was over
An Empty Patch of land with Cow Grass??!!
What could the worst outcome of the "breach of barricades" have been? "Occupation" of public space by the public? Isn't that what it is for?
Datuk Bandar/IGP/Hishamudin fears Damage to the grass?
What- do our KL Datuk Bandar, Home Minister or the PDRM need the Cow Grass so badly for their meals or something?
Yeah- maybe they really are cows up there ...

Here are some excerpts of an account- from a journalist himself ...

"In all my years as a journalist, I have never felt
as threatened and intimidated
as I did that day.
And I am one who has reported in conflict zones
such as Afghanistan, Lebanon and Pattani.

If the police felt like they were justified
in what they were doing,
why then did they not allow journalists to document it?"

MAY 4 — I waited for almost a week before actually writing ... There were so many emotions, I wanted to make sure that I was calm and coherent before actually commenting on it.......

Once everyone was as close to Dataran Merdeka as possible, I heard the leaders declaring the rally a success and calling for the crowd to disperse.
The crowd didn’t disperse ........................
The protesters had breached the barricade.

Here we go, I thought to myself ..............

But what happened next was something that I had never seen or experienced before. It was when the violence started.
Groups of policemen suddenly started attacking the protesters. They would gang up on individuals and just unleash punches and kicks.

I, along with many other journalists who were there, started shooting these attacks and arrests.......

But last Saturday was different. When we journalists started documenting what was happening, we instead ended up on the receiving end of the aggression.
The police started screaming at us in a very hostile way to stop shooting. I had police shoving my camera arms, pulling and pushing me away.

At one point, I was even detained by the police who had accused me of shooting a group of them (around 20, I think) beating up a protester......

I was lucky. Many of my other colleagues were assaulted and attacked just for doing their jobs. They were punched and kicked and suffered terrible injuries. Their equipment was confiscated and many even had their cameras and lenses smashed and destroyed.

"I also noticed something very strange. At one point, I saw that all the policemen who were in uniform had removed their Velcro nametags."

They were also moving in droves away from Dataran Merdeka and into the streets and they were just attacking, beating and arresting people.

Since I was witnessing all this and could not shoot anything, I started feeling sick to the stomach and decided to just walk to where I had parked my car and go home.

428- The day PDRM ran Riot!!

“The use of water cannons and teargas against peaceful protesters
shows the Malaysian police were out of control,
not the demonstrators,”
said Phil Robertson, deputy Asia director at Human Rights Watch.
“The government should stop patting itself on the back
and promptly investigate why unnecessary force
was used and punish those responsible.”
*****************************************

BERSIH 3.0 was a huge success!
To all the participants of BERSIH 3.0 - BRAVO!!
To the senior citizens, mothers, fathers (who brought their children) and the young ones- I am so proud of you guys!!
You guys ROCK!!
**You can all now show your collective middle-fingers to
the "prophet" (aka Mr. "I told you so", aka RPK)

who said that it would be "a waste of time". HA HA HA**
Hishamudin's claim that BERSIH 3.0 "had little appeal" has been proven to be pure bunkum- and only showed how well the Home Minister was informed by his intelligence services.
Anything between 200,000 to 500,000 people rallied demanding for a transparent clean and fair elections process.
(Yes- I heard NST said there were 20,000).

Many were confused and "disappointed with the purported "violence by participants" of the rally. Many swallowed the MSM media spin hook, line & sinker- that the participants "rioted"- without realizing that it was more of a confrontation which was perpetrated (by design) by the Police, so as to paint BERSIH black.

If they still believe that what happened was "rioting"- then I can only say that they're ignorant- 'cos "Ignorance is bliss- and They ain't seen nothin' yet!!". Even the International observers from India/Pakistan/Indonesia - where rallies and real riots  are frequent occurrences- and even journalists were impressed with the EXEMPLARY conduct of the participants.
A former UMNO leader (Zaharin, I believe) apparently saw Special Branch Police he knew, masquerading as BERSIH participants.
Despite Muhyiddin's claim that the participants of BERSIH having rioted, and the media war launched against BERSIH- the facts speak for themselves.
There is increasingly clear photographic and video evidence that it was the police which engaged in the violence to provoke the victims into retaliation.
All said and done (by our security personnel/Govt)- the people are more convinced than ever that the government in this country and their media are made up of a bunch of liars, and thugs.

My advice to  those in power- have some self-respect, and knw some "shame", please.
Please listen to the people whom you claim to represent, and stop the lies and intimidation! The people do not fear you anymore- and you NEED TO LEARN how to earn the respect you need.

As for PDRM-
Please stop sending your recruits to Bolehsian K9 schools okay ... either that, or they may have accidentally picked up the K9 manual during the pre-rally briefing. Seriously- they should go back to a respected police academy to learn what real "crowd control" is all about (before ordering their underlings to follow the K9 manuals).

Meanwhile ....

Shame on you guys who think "opposition politicians" hijacked BERSIH, while you sit around blaming the people for not being "Goldilocks" with the goons.
You are a hypocrite trying to justify your apathy or are just too chickenshit to fight the PIRATES who have hijacked the NATION!!
Period.

Here are just a few of the videos which have been uploaded on YouTube:

So let's start with how BBC video report was manipulated by our great MSM ....

Here's something from Al-Jazeera which is proof of Police violence on Journalists:-

Now- what the frickin' hell was this police patrol car doing in a "war-zone"?

Just take a look at how they went around arresting people
and challenging the like hooligans- instead of showing restraint ...

BTW- Take note that the people DID NOT "overturn" the police car (as depicted by our MSM)- the car was lifted onto its side to remove a victim they believed was under the car.
The police were PROTECTED by the BERSIH CROWD from the unruly and emotional ones!!

This is just "too good" ... just take alook at the cops "releasing tension" on an unarmed and passive civilian :-
